    I think a study was done in Britain a few years ago and results were similar to Australia that gay marriage was not a priority but it is legal there now. There are still not that many countries in the world (only 23) that have passed legislation on same sex marriage.

    The “heteronormative world” has issues enough with marriage, it seems to me! The entire institution has been/continues to be debased by popular culture, to everyone’s great loss.

      Then horhay says that every marriage by a Catholic priest is null and void while shack ups are truly married. Go figure.
