Our NATO Ally: Turkish border guards kill 11 after ‘firing indiscriminately’ at Syrian refugees

Turkish border guards have shot dead nearly a dozen Syrian refugees, including children, as they tried to cross into the country.

At least 11 people were killed after they were “fired on indiscriminately” at the unofficial Khirbet al-Jouz crossing, around 30 miles south of the Turkish city of Antakya.

Many of the victims were from the same family, which had recently fled the northern Islamic State-held town of Jarabulus.

That would be Turkey… Our NATO partner.

I think it’s time Turkey was dismembered…..Trump and Putin will do the heavy lifting of course……The Kurds in the north….the Israelis in the south will wield the realpolitik cudgel……Egypt as the head waiter and the rest devolve into insignificant tribal enclaves murdering each other downstairs…

Balkanise the ME…..keep them busy cutting each other’s throats and looking over their OWN shoulders.

So saith Henry J Spatchcocked…..long live the Roosian bear….God strengthen his right arm and increase his tribe.

Oh I forgot ……Greece and Armenia get their piece of the pie…..which is only just, right ,proper and fair…..and Christian.

And Erdogan for the high jump of course…..after The Hague ordeal of course….
Rule of law…..such as it is of course…

At least that is one Turk who deserves a medal. EErdogan won’t be happy though, since he shot the wrong crowd in Erdogan’s eyes.

This story makes little sense at all.

The center of Jarabulus is a little over 1km from the border between turkey and Syria. The family instead of going north 2 km, went west and south over 200km, only to be allegedly shot by Turkish border guards, at an ‘unofficial’ crossing, in an area that looks pretty hilly from the overheads.

Another name of unofficial border crossings, is smugglers routes.

And the bad news is what? Let the Muslims sort out the Muslim issues among the Muslims. If it involves gun fire or chemical weapons or crematoria, that’s their problem.
