Liberal left hijacked Toronto vigil for those killed in Orlando

They were all there at Sunday night’s gay vigil in downtown Toronto’s Barbara Hall Park.

The leftist hypocrites. The politically correct. The haters of the only gay-positive country in the Middle East, namely Israel, where Gay Pride was just celebrated a week ago with a huge party in Tel Aviv.

Most of all, there was a gaggle of politicians who could not bring themselves to concede, despite the evidence, that it was an Islamic terrorist who was responsible for killing 49 people and wounding countless others during the wee hours of the morning Sunday at a gay nightclub in Orlando.

Premier Kathleen Wynne wouldn’t say it. Nor would Liberal MP Rob Oliphant, Nor would Mayor John Tory.

Muslim extremist. There I said it — the dreaded “M” word.

  • mobuyus

Man I’d love to see that gang in raqqa peddling their smug sanctimony.

    • Oneball Hung Lo

It’s time to reopen the Don Jail.

    • FivePointSpurgeon

      I’d take Dearborn, MI.

  • Daviddowntown

    Four of five smirking.

    • mobuyus

That is the look of smug sanctimony, like they’re trying to polish turds in their mouth’s and they know that they are in the wrong and yet they double down in their smug sanctimony.

    • Surele Surele

Good observation. Had another glance at the photo, and sure enough… they are smirking. Counting new voters?

  • ontario john

Nothing is more important in Sunny Ways Ontario than homosexual sex. Except maybe kissing islamic ass. But one thing about Wynne, she sticks by her shady friends. The ex-NDP socialist who caused a stir with a shady election up north, was given a cabinet job. And if anyone needs a laugh, look up that old commie Rick Salutin on the Toronto Star website, who has a bizarre story on how evil the CBC is for covering the Queen’s birthday. He blames it on Harper. The left surely are a strange people.

    • mobuyus

They are very strange very queer.

  • Alain

I am still in shock over the first sentence, that is actually a park named Barabara Hall. I had no idea things had reached such a low point in Toronto, although I well understood that it had really gone downhill. Normally parks are named after some great person who contributed a lot to society, which is not the case here.

    • Jaedo Drax

Usually parks, roads and whatnot should not be named after someone who is still living. Unfortunately, they seem to make exceptions for those with a leftward bent.

      • Alain

You are correct that they are normally named after a person has died.

        • mobuyus

Those dorks died along time ago inside.

        • Bubba2 Butane

Mel Lastman Square in North Yuk. Mel is still breathing. Might be giving The Donald instructions on how to create the ultimate comb over…

      • Waffle

That convention went down the drain a long time ago. Now, if you have enough money or the correct political leaning, you can get your name on just about anything.

Here’s the Parks & Rec description:

“A small park on Church Street north of Wellesley Street East featuring a fenced in splash pad, a dog off-leash area and an AIDs Memorial. The park is next to the 519 Community Centre, which hosts events in the park during Pride Week and throughout the year. There is currently a BIXI station on the northwest side of the park.”

        • WalterBannon

          an AIDs Memorial eh?

So a park named after a deadly disease is a memorial to another deadly disease. OK

          • Alain

Yes, but there must never be a memorial for the victims of communism, and especially not of Islam.

    • Linda1000

Oh, well, brace yourself – I believe there’s actually a bronze statue of the late not-so-great Jack Layton some place close to the waterfront (Lake Ontario). Puke.

      • Alain

        OMG

        • Jaedo Drax

yes, the Jack Layton memorial ferry terminal, has the ridiculous statue of him riding a bike.

          • FivePointSpurgeon

Maybe the Wynne Dyke will be next.

          • mobuyus

Riding his bike to the “clinic” at the strip mall to see a “clinician”(trafficked Asian sex worker) before the cops caught him bare ass naked while the aforementioned “clinician” stood with a snotty Kleenex in hand?

          • Justin St.Denis

            “Snotty” Kleenex? Are you sure?

          • mobuyus

Snotty Kleenex is the only civil way to describe it.

          • dance…dancetotheradio

Should be a statue of him getting a happy ending.

          • Waffle
          • DavidinNorthBurnaby

Shouldn’t he be riding a whore?

          • Justin St.Denis

            ROFL

          • WalterBannon

..on his way to a brothel for some under age chinese sex slave?

          • Clausewitz

That would be the Jack Layton happy rubs urinal stand.

      • mobuyus

Is he standing naked in front of a cop and a “clinician” (trafficked Asian sex worker)holding a snotty Kleenex? This is the left.

      • Clink9

With a built in Kleenex dispenser.

    • Justin St.Denis

Perhaps “slow talkers” and other brain-damaged individuals needed a “safe space” named in honor of one of their own.

  • The Butterfly

Rob Ford would have used the word Islam, in a drunken stupor.

    • mobuyus

      Me too.

  • Canadian Born

Why is there not a heterosexual parade, is there not any of us left?

    • Justin St.Denis

Been to Toronto lately? There don’t seem to be many heteros there anymore.

    • Clausewitz

We’ve all moved out. We’re not welcome there.

  • dance…dancetotheradio

Glen Murray sure turned into a fat bastard.

    • SDMatt

      Stupid bastard too.

      • dance…dancetotheradio

I had a front row seat during his time as mayor of Winnipeg.

        • Alain

          Glad you survived.

        • WalterBannon

you must tell us what you did to motivate him to leave your province…

          • dance…dancetotheradio

I voted for Steven Fletcher and Murray lost.

        • Justin St.Denis

You should have puked on his shoes……

  • Spatchcocked

Don’t be so hard on our Premieress….look at her dial….the poor child is suffering for the pain we all feel….but she’ll shoulder the pain for US and soldier on to make our province the best gol darned place in our Dominion to pay taxes and be free of hate.
The woman is a saint….a Theresa of the dolorous path which some day some day I testify will lead us OUT of the desert into sunlit verdant uplands…
If I told you she is suffering a recurrence of that damned painful chlamydia infection and yet she STILL appeared to be an inspiration to us villeins would you care?
    THATS leadership!!!!!

    • Reader

I had to take two Gravol to get through what you just wrote in jest without throwing up!

      • Justin St.Denis

Yup, the villainy some inflict upon the English language can be tiresome.

  • Yes, that is what the left does.

It is nauseating but not surprising.

Even CNN’s Anderson Cooper is on the act:

    https://ca.news.yahoo.com/news/anderson-cooper-pam-bondi-lgbt-000000813.html

Because everyone knows a bloodied corpse is a great way to further a cause.

Big Gay and Big Islamism deserve each other.

    • DavidinNorthBurnaby

I’ll bet Andy’s dozens of viewers were lapping it up too. 😉

      • Of course they were.

Why not trot out some actual corpses to drive his stupid point home?

    • Justin St.Denis

That’s a prom invitation nobody wants to receive.

      • Leave them in a room together and watch them destroy each other.

  • mauser 98

    yikes …even the Star

“A bloated cabinet begat an even bigger one — 30 earnest ministers crowded around the table like errant schoolchildren.”
