Clinton leads Trump by 11 points in White House race: Reuters/Ipsos poll
Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by 11 points in the U.S. presidential race, showing little change after she became the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee this week, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Friday.
The online poll, conducted from Monday to Friday, shows 46 percent of likely voters support Clinton while 34.8 percent back Trump. Another 19.2 percent support neither candidate. Their parties hold conventions in July ahead of a Nov. 8 election.
Clinton’s lead was nearly the same a week ago, before she had amassed enough convention delegates to win the nomination and before Trump drew criticism from leaders of both parties for questioning the impartiality of a Mexican-American judge.
Clinton promises Planned Parenthood to prioritize abortion rights in first policy speech since becoming the presumptive Democratic nominee
The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee warned the crowd that if elected president, her opponent Donald Trump would weaken women’s rights.
‘He actually said women should be punished for having abortions,’ Clinton said of Trump, referring to comments Trump made in an interview in March.
‘Anyone who would so casually agree with the idea of punishing women as if it was nothing to him… that’s someone who doesn’t hold women in high regard,’ Clinton said.
In Bangladesh, 3,000 arrested in crackdown against Islamists, Sheikh Hasina vows to catch killers
More than 3,000 people, including 37 militants, have been arrested across Bangladesh in a sweeping crackdown on Islamists to halt a wave of fatal attacks on minorities and secular writers, as Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Saturday vowed to catch “each and every killer”.
The militants arrested were operatives of the outlawed Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), the outfit believed to have carried out most of the attacks on secular and liberal activists and minorities, including Hindus and Christians.
Canadian Muslim Leading Islamic State in Bangladesh
Why didn’t the Islamic community and this Canadian’s mosque in Windsor, Ontario (you know, the moderates the West is counting on to defeat jihad) intervene and stop Tamim Chowdhury from becoming the leader of ISIS in Bangladesh — hacking bloggers and university professors to death?
The Muslims in Bangladesh are hacking poets, free thinkers and secular Muslims to death, led by a Western Muslim — proving yet again that nationality, geography, color, race, sex, is irrelevant in Islam’s holy war.
Synagogue goes global with crash course on jihadist threats to Christians and Jews
Christians face extinction in the Middle East from Islamic terrorism while Israel faces an existential threat, also due to organized Islamic terrorism. Let’s also not forget the violent Islamic conquests that raged through and conquered vast regions of the Middle East in the 7th century, long before the Christian Crusades — which were wrong in their violence toward Jews and in other ways — but which also stopped the Islamic incursion into Europe.
Christians and Europeans in general have since evolved, building societies with full equality and human rights for all, while Jihadists continue rampaging and terrorizing the globe with the intention of reviving the successes of their violent historic conquests.
Bravo to a synagogue in a Boston suburb that featured an event entitled, “Jews, Evangelicals, Israel—We Are in This Together: Evangelical Support for Israel and the Fight against the Genocide of Christians in the Middle East”, which educated people on how to counter propaganda with fact. The event also focused on the insidious efforts to undermine Christian support for Israel.
‘Jews burn the best,’ sing Dutch teens at graduation party
The incident happened last week during the graduation gala of the Elde College in the town of Schijndel, 70 miles southeast of Amsterdam, the Brabants Dagblad daily reported on Wednesday.
As they approached the party, several graduates sang: “Together we’ll burn Jews, because Jews burn the best.”
The phrase is part of a chant heard several times in recent years during soccer matches connected to the Amsterdam’s Ajax football team, whose players and supporters are often dubbed “Jews” because of the historic Jewish presence in the city, which is sometimes colloquially called “Mokum” after the Yiddish word for “place.” But the gala incident had nothing to do with soccer.
Terror-linked CAIR to Muslims: Defy Customs Agents
The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) has called on Muslims to openly defy U.S. Customs Agents when questioned on travel from Islamic controlled countries by saying, “None of your Damn Business.”
CAIR’s open defiance of law enforcement has been well documented. In 2011 CAIR, California posted flyers on their website featuring a sinister looking FBI agent with the headlines, “Build a Wall of Resistance,” and “Don’t Talk to the FBI.”
Romney: Trump will cause ‘trickle-down racism’
When anchor Wolf Blitzer asked Romney directly if he thought Trump was racist, the former Massachusetts governor again focused on the implications of Trump’s rhetoric.
“I think his comments time and again appeal to the racist tendency that exists in some people and I think that’s dangerous,” he said.
Romney’s comments didn’t stop at Trump’s rhetoric. He continued to rail against the real estate mogul, criticizing his temperament, which he suggested posed problems in a world “which is as combustible as it has ever been during my lifetime.”
“This is a very dangerous world and requires a person who is thoughtful,” Romney said, highlighting key geopolitical issues that he thinks could catalyze future conflicts like the crisis in Syria, a nuclear-capable Pakistan and China’s assertiveness.
School Kids Forced To ‘Play’ Migrants To ‘Better Understand’ Them
On the island of Kaninchenwerder just outside the German city of Schwerin local students were told to become “asylum seekers”. “Refugee for the day” is a project designed to get high-school aged children to experience what the Network Working for Refugees (NAF) believes is the plight of migrants in Germany and elsewhere, reports German paper Die Welt.
The children encounter stern-faced border control officers and are made to feel powerless – which aims to give the children a pro-migrant view.
Rabbi Turns Ali Service Into Political Pep Rally, Denounces ‘Racist Police,’ Says ‘1 Percent’ Must ‘Share Their Wealth’
Lerner said that “it’s time to create a guaranteed income,” “help create a Palestinian state,” and rid society of “racist police” and “racist judges.”
Lerner, a sixties-activist-turned-spiritual-guru, plugged his magazine, Tikkun, “a magazine of liberal and progressive Jews,” and his website during the raucous, rambling speech. He said that Jews stood in solidarity with African Americans in the sixties and now stand in solidarity with Muslims. Lerner condemned “the part of the Israeli government that is oppressing Palestinians.”
