Newly victorious Clinton: Donald Trump is a ‘demagogue’
‘It’s classic behavior by a demagogue,’ she said in an telephone interview with The Associated Press. ‘We’ve seen it many, many places and times in the world, and that’s why I think it’s so dangerous.’
‘I do not believe his views or his rhetoric will find that favorable an audience in the general electorate, because I think that — as I said last week in San Diego — what he’s already said, both words and deeds, disqualifies him from being president,’ she told CBS.
Black preschool kids get suspended much more frequently than white preschool kids, U.S. survey says
Across all grades, 2.8 million students were suspended once or more. Black students were nearly four times as likely to be suspended and almost twice as likely to be expelled as white students. Students with disabilities were also twice as likely to be suspended as general education students.
The disparity “tears at the moral fabric of the nation,” said U.S. Secretary of Education John B. King Jr. “We will not compromise away the civil right of all students to an excellent education.”

The State Department is committed to meeting President Obama’s goal of admitting 10,000 Syrian refugees into the United States this fiscal year, and expects the numbers to “increase exponentially” over the summer, a spokesman said Tuesday.
The State Department set up a special refugee “resettlement surge center” in Amman, Jordan in February, and officials said processing times had been significantly reduced from approximately 18-24 months to just three months.

According to Breitbart, some 160 migrants were resident at hall 18 of the centre, which has been plagued by racial violence in the past between Arab residents and a minority of Afghans aligned with security staff of Iranian descent running the facility.

University of Oklahoma to launch 24/7/365 multilingual bias complaint hotline
The contract with the Los Angeles-based Greenwood Hall states its employees will be available “24/7/365 via phone, text or web chat” for calls and that the service will be “multilingual.” The company will act as a middle man of sorts, keep a record of all complaints, and direct callers to already established campus resources for further help.
The system is described in the contract as a “safe place” for students, employees and other members of a campus community to report bias incidents and other problems — such as bullying, hazing, violence, discrimination and assault — and obtain referrals to resources. The company is not a 9-1-1 dispatch nor does it offer mental health counseling, its contract states.
VA Wants to Provide Transgender Surgeries
Sex reassignment surgeries might soon be covered by the Department of Veterans Affairs. The VA has proposed lifting its ban on the medical procedures, which treat a condition called gender dysphoria and allow a man to live as a woman or vice versa.
The department called it a serious medical condition with severe consequences for patients if treatment is not provided. Current VA rules prohibit the department from covering or performing any surgical procedures considered to be gender alterations.

Danny Spriggs, the AP’s vice president for global security, notified employees that their colleagues were receiving incensed phone calls, emails and social media messages from Sanders backers but noted that the news cooperative hadn’t “received any specific security threats.”

Islamic State Nuclear Attack In Europe A ‘Real Threat’, Say Analysts
The threat of a terrorist attack using nuclear material is the highest since the end of the Cold War, with Isis actively trying to acquire weapons of mass destruction, according to a leading international think-tank on proliferation.
“Isis has already carried out numerous chemical weapons attacks in Syria; we know it wants to go further by carrying out a nuclear attack in the heart of Europe. This, combined with poor levels of security at a host of nuclear research centres in the former Soviet Union mean the threat of a possible ‘dirty-bomb’ attack on a Western capital is high,” said Moshe Kantor, the president of the International Luxembourg Forum.

SJW Internet: Saying There Is a ‘Correct’ Form of English Is ‘Classist’
“We are told that there is one correct form of English, and deviating from grammar and pronunciation rules associates us with the working class,” Alex-Quan Pham, a self-identified “Vietnamese femme” who prefers the pronoun “they,” writes in a piece for Everyday Feminism titled “3 Ways Language Oppression Harms Us (And How We Can Heal).” “Not only is this classist, but it fortifies the idea that English has a ‘proper’ form — even though every variation of English has been constructed.”
