American Jewish Group: Move Over, Israelis, We’re Taking Over

A group of prominent American Jews, in tandem with a group of retired, left-wing Israeli military and security officials and an American security think tank, is seeking—via the next U.S. president, whoever he or she will be—to force policies on Israel that its government and a large majority of its population oppose.

There is currently a struggle between Jews in America and Jews elsewhere as to how Israel should be treated and nobody is talking about it, for some reason.
The sooner that we all get more oriented to that reality and realize that no matter how many speeches social conservatives give before AIPAC, that we are attempting to curry favor with a constituency that 4 out of 5 times would vote for Obama over anybody on our side.
On that note, why do we still conflate the needs and desires of these two groups as it it were still 1967?

    • There is a distance, a growing one between Israel and the Diaspora. Israel likely sees them as an irritant as they don’t really need them. I suspect that the “seculars” will by and large write off Israel in the future. They may in fact be the majority opinion one day if they aren’t already.

The “seculars” aren’t reproducing like the Orthodox and not all of them are left-wingers. Besides, many of the former intermarry and their children become JINOs.

Do Jews in America just want ISRAEL to disappear ?
This is something that I don’t understand.
What is this ? A death wish or a desire to become the New Roma.

Can’t fix daft as a brush.

American “Jews” seeking the destruction of Israel is what this is. It is one thing for them to be indifferent to Israel, but it is another thing to seek the destruction of a country where they do not live. They and their fellow travellers should have a life time ban put on them by Israel.

    • It’s the liberal left who are increasingly not so Jewish any longer.
