Dear Conservative Party of Canada: Immigrants Don’t Vote For You.

I came across this blog post about Canada’s erstwhile Minister of Immigration Jason Kenney and learned an interesting fact about the CPC’s alleged gains among immigrant voters in the federal election of 2011 where the party secured its majority.

Give that 1st link an especially long look. The CPC seem hell-bent on becoming Liberal Light.

Screw em.

Same here, I don’t like where they’re going which is back to the days of Progressive Conservative label which was another way of saying “we are Tories and ashamed of it”.

    • No hope for them, they played the Multicult/Immigration card and still got burned. Let em rot.

Agree, and I doubt if the Cons. will have it together to win against JT in 2019. Kenney would not be my first pick. The guy I liked the best was John Baird because he was a fighter but he’s long gone which is too bad.

        • Not likely to win, not with the line-up of leadership hopefuls they’re not.

            is that CFRB 1010 Moore??

          • Linda1000

Well, I really didn’t or don’t care about Baird’s sex life. He was still effective as an MP in various cabinet posts. I like Pierre Poilievere but don’t know how much clout he has in the Cons. party. At least he managed to get re-elected (the lone Cons. in the 99% Red Ottawa area). Canada really needs a Donald Trump but we just don’t have one.
Got any better suggestions to lead the party?

          • mauser 98

would be another one to rub it in our faces… like Wynne, non stop and i am sick of it
            …thought maybe Kenny (?)
otherwise no i have no better suggestions…they know the media will BBQ them

          • Alain

I agree that his private sex life is not an issue. He didn’t push it with the in-your-face approach unlike Wynne. I prefer to judge them by their actions when it comes to politics.

          • Alain

That would probably be a plus today.

          • mauser 98

            yes it would

    We’re doomed.

I think under Harper the “conservatives” were already “Liberal Light”. On the most important issues such as immigration – there is not much meaningful difference between the two parties. Harper brought in half a million Muslim’s during his term in office (doubling the Muslim population in the process). The only real difference is the Liberals proudly trumpet their mass Muslim immigration programs whereas Harper/Kenney acted very quietly so as not to turn-off the base. In an effort to get credit from the immigrant communities for their mass immigration programs Jason Kenney – the confirmed bachelor – spent all his free time visiting Mosques and Temples from coast to coast. Kenney’s outreach was for naught since the South Asian communities voted overwhelmingly for the Liberals in the last election. All Harper/Kenney accomplished was they increased the Liberal voter base by over a Million making it more difficult for a true conservative to ever get elected. The irony of Kenney courting these South Asian communities is that he is almost certainly a closeted homosexual (how can he be a virgin at age 47?) and in these communities homosexuality is considered a crime that is punishable by death.

I noticed that the Rebel Media devoted a lot of resources to the Conservative convention in Vancouver and I was disappointed that not once in their coverage did they take the Conservatives to task on their past immigration failures. As noted in the excellent article from JJ McCullough – 75% of the MILLIONS of 3rd. World immigrants that Harper / Kenney let into Canada were family class including Millions of sick and aging parents and grandparents of landed immigrants – most of whom will never pay a dime in taxes and yet receive FREE healtcare within weeks of arrival. Harper cynically saddled taxpayers with a burden costing many Billions (estimated at $20 Billion a year) just to buy votes from the immigrant community (mostly South Asian).

Jason Kenney spent a decade pandering to immigrants. Tell me how this isn’t part of that…

    Let it burn. Go Galt.

When the wheels fall off, the voters get mad at incumbent tweedledum and vote in tweedledee.
When the wheels are running smoothly, voters get bored with dull incumbent tweedledum and vote in dullard selfie specialist tweedledee

Canada’s federal Conservative Party begins its implosion

How can any self-respecting conservative have confidence in a party that, for all intent and purposes, accepts what are in effect dual card carry members sitting on local riding boards?

  • Exile1981

The PC shoult just drop the C and call themselves the FP party – Fairly Progressive party, since conservative isn’t part of it anymore.

As a paid-up member of the CPC I have received for the longest time prior to the election, during the campaign and several times afterwards) opinion surveys along with a request for donations. Since the right questions are not asked, I write each time that until they are willing to address the problem of Muslim immigration and even just the mass immigration, which is population replacement, I shall not be able to make a donation. It must fall into a black hole somewhere, since there is never a response and they just continue sending out the same thing. Now it has even got worse with the race to outdo the rest of the Left, so I won’t be renewing my membership when it expires.
