Toronto police have confirmed that they are executing a series of search warrants at storefront cannabis distributors in the city this afternoon.

Police say the raids are part of an investigation dubbed ‘Project Claudia.’

But but but …..Justin promised the pot head youths during the campaign that pot would be legal if he’s elected because it’s harmless and 2015.
Justin mother has a different view on that harmless pot that she had an addiction to .
Obama praised Justin’s mother at the White House dinner because she was brave and strong while dealing with her mental health issue. But poor Obama that also thinks pot is harmless was never told that her depression and screwed up life was partly from a poor choice in a husband and her pot addiction .

    btw

I see people freely smoking pot as if it IS legal right now which I blame on the useful-idiots that believe a Liberal will keep their promise.

    • Let em, they’ll all be in psych wards soon enough.

      • mobuyus

Weed may actually keep people out of psych wards. The people needing tender care are those that go ballistic over someone else s pot use. Those that consider themselves “anti-pot warriors” are almost talibanistic in their fervor and will need help.

        • ntt1

I m no anti pot warrior I just know that it makes you listless and stupid ; a progressive in all aspects ready for state control.

          • Alain

I think that really depends on the amount of use and the reason for it. I know people who use it moderately to deal with pain and it does work for them. I am perhaps a minority but think the state should focus on criminal behaviour instead of this. For the record I do not use it, incase anyone is thinking that.

But they need for medical purposes!

Charlotte’s Web – a particular strain of marijuana – is sought after because it is so very effective in helping young children and adolescents with Epilepsy. Do the research and discover the Charlotte’s Web story for yourself. I have neighbours who receive it from US sources on a bi-weekly basis for their epileptic son. It has virtually changed his life!

Please! Show some empathy, and I am appealing to everyone here.

Marijuana can be VERY effective as medicine. Pretending otherwise in light of what we now know is sheer ignorance.

          • Reader

There is a difference between decriminalizing it for the public while legalizing it for medical purposes versus what Trudeau promised the outright legalizing the purchase of it for adults which will make it easier of underaged youth to get it just like what happens with liquor.

I have serious doubts Justin believes in anything except whatever will get him votes and keep him in power.

          • Justin St.Denis

I do not intend to defend stoners. I was merely pointing out that a Pot=Bad perspective ignores the medical applications that we know of. I wish more actual research would be undertaken to find out how others might benefit from this medicinal plant.

          • ntt1

This is true, but then again how do i work safely with a millennial who can’t get through the day without a massive spliff of skunk weed ? how is he different than the guy who pounds 6 beer at lunch?

          • mobuyus

Have him removed from the work area in compliance with Health and Safety Regulations. Been there done that.

          • ntt1

Ha we tread the same trail, my experience is that our union demand he be given a chance after signing up for a feel good exercise like EAP. Worksafebc on the other hand simply states that if a union retains an impaired worker and there are ” accidents ” the union is on the hook for full damages, The union always backs down. I will not waste my time and expose myself to injury to accommodate a stoner or a drunk they are all the same. send them home.

          • Alain

I see the problem here being the union defending someone who represents a danger to other employees. In my long work experience, I fear this is the norm when it comes to unions. They do a disservice to other members by doing this.

          • mobuyus

There are also provisions in the job specifications of almost all jobs for the removal of those who engage in un-workman like behavior.

          • V10_Rob

Exactly. Impaired is impaired, and you should not be doing anything dangerous (ie. driving, operating machinery, etc.) while in such a state. Plenty of already legal medications reduce your faculties, and there’s provisions in the law to cover it.

As for the recreational users, categorize it with booze and smokes (regulate who can use it and where, selling to minors still punishable) and let’s move on. Politically, it’s just not a hill worth dying for. Let the progs stone themselves into oblivion, let them get so high they’re too out of it to inflict themselves and their delusions on the rest of us.

          • Justin St.Denis

I agree with you and share your concerns. See me note to Reader above.

          • Alain

It isn’t different in the least in my opinion, but that is the problem of the individual. Whether the person abuses marijuana, booze or something else, tells me the person is the problem here.

It isn’t whether legalizing pot is the right or wrong thing to do, the whole point is for Toronto council to get its “taste.” And when they don’t get their “taste” they shut it down a la Paulie Walnuts:

Thanks to Justin’s waffling on this issue pot heads now got the false impression that marijuana is already decriminalized if not legal. Problem is for them that Justin will maintain the criminal prosecution of people possessing or distributing unless he keeps his promise of legalizing or decriminalizing it. However when it comes to Liberals and promises they have a very poor track record. Justin has already created a bigger mess for the police by not being up front if he plans to keep it illegal or make it legal and immediately decriminalizing it until it is properly regulated.

  • Sid Falco

Legalising pot is just legitimizing the trash of canadian society. The stench of it in the parks now the sun is out is unbearable.

It’s perhaps not the worst drug going, but the people who smoke it are low-achievement fucking losers and they shouldn’t be rewarded for their loserdom.

    • Alain

Ha, but at least here in BC you won’t get a fife of tobacco smoke in those same places. That is strictly enforced while smoking a joint is pretty much ignored. Liberal logic at its best.

      • Sid Falco

Nothing worse than passing some losers at 10am and they’re smoking skunk.

“I don’t understand how they are only targeting the ones that are doing it by prescription only,” complained the owner of one of the licensed dispensaries. Poor baby. Obviously, he doesn’t understand how things work in this town.

Kathleen has cracked her whip and laid down the law. She will not abide anyone but those she has authorized (and that includes the LCBO) to rake in the mega profits formerly enjoyed by your friendly neighbourhood pusher. Hapless John (the Consensus Builder) is now feeling the sting of her riding crop against his sagging shoulders and he has had to order “Metro’s finest” to carry out the raids and to shame as many as possible by dragging them out in handcuffs (Liberal specialty).

Project Wynne was visiting Project Nutass in Edmonton today so they could pat each other on the back for their enlightened and progressive climate change and carbon tax schemes. Seems not everyone in AB adores them.

I did my time getting high and rejected it almost 40 years ago, what i find amusing is the naive assurance from my younger co workers that legalized pot will be just that, the same deal but without the hated and feared mounted police kicking in the door.
reality is that statist government has already promised pot distribution to their union buddies it is not going to be an open market, in fact the very ideology subscribed to by most of my pot head coworkers is the very same ideology that demands even tighter control through approved outlets (read union ) LOL.

Frankly!… NOBODY IN THE WORLD should be selling!… or using!… Marijuana! Instead, sellers should be selling!… and users should be using!… THC in pill form– O-N-L-Y!
