Hirsi Ali Gets Outraged At Just The Mention of Donald Trump

We went to see Ayaan Hirsi Ali tonight. And the only reason I asked a question was because my sciatica meant I couldn’t sit for too long so got up and stood in the queue among those with something to ask. And when my turn came, my question was this:

What advice would you give a President Donald Trump?

I have no idea why she reacted this way. Can it have anything to do with the fact she and her husband have certain Washington connections?

  • Dana Garcia

Actually, Ayaan Hirsi Ali favors Muslim immigration to the west, as she wrote in her book Nomad and has said in public. She thinks we should take Muslims in and educate them about western values. She is not “worried about Muslim immigration” as the blog suggests.

    • Something has changed in her outlook, I suspect “Think Tank” money is involved.

      • ntt1

who is picking up her security tab? it must be a massive cost

      • General P. Malaise

she has not changed, I saw this in her after reading her first book. although she has some proper thought she is still an apologist for islam.

she is part of the elite (or would like to be and thinks she is).

I use Trump as a litmus test. anyone who is against Trump (there is no other possible candidate running) then they are not conservative through ignorance or complicity. I dropped a lot of blogs over this. Thankfully your blog is fantastic 99.9% of the time 🙂

        • dance…dancetotheradio

I dropped a lot of blogs over this as well.
Actually, it’s nice to know who the goofballs are now.

    • Ford Prefect

      That has worked nowhere ever.

  • k1

Ive always thought it was a business relationship or one to soften her stand

  • Oh, no, not her too. Can’t I be allowed to admire anyone without it turning to sh*t?

    • Yea, she has gone soft this past while.

      • General P. Malaise

she has changed little. this is who I have always seen.

    • Miss Trixie

I was thinking the same thing, more along the lines of Michael Coren and “et tu, Brute?” My heart’s crushed again.

Also, I was speaking to mom the other day and she wanted to know why I didn’t want to go to the annual celebration of birds and other woodland animals in a slideshow put on by the local festival group, or a concert or other festival. *rolls eyes*

I love birds, animals and adore nature in all her glory but it’s ALWAYS ruined for me when the punchline is revealed. ALWAYS.

“It’s man’s fault blah blah blah blah ……” “… we MUST NOT continue with fossil fuels …” “… GREEN energy … ”

All the joy is erased because these a**holes will not let anyone enjoy the beauty nor weep over nature’s cruelty.

For me, it’s the same thing with singers and performers. Once the extraordinarily talented I admire open their big mouth and insert the big f***ing LEFT foot, the joy and happiness that their art had brought disappears from my heart like a puff of smoke on a windy day, never to be seen again.

      • Oh, you’re so right about the preachy nature stuff. You go to a zoo (I love zoos), and you’re happily reading about the tree kangaroo or whatever, and its ancestry and habits and gestation cycles and what it eats and then you learn that the worst enemy is…. MAN!

With a few exceptions I don’t really care about celebrities’ political opinions, so I just ignore those. (I miss you, Alan Rickman.) And I never payed much attention to Coren but he never gave me a good vibe and frankly at this point he strikes me as a bit sociopathic. But someone like Hirsi Ali, someone as fearless as she’s always been…

She has a kid now. That must make a huge difference.

At least, with Trump, there are few ways he could let us down. Mistress? Oooh, I’m totally shocked. Shady business deals? Bwaaa-ha-ha! Not really a conservative? Now you’ve made Rich Lowry cry. Just deal with the immigration, Mr Orange, and everyone’s happy.

So I guess there’s something to be said for low expectations.

  • Maybe she just doesn’t trust Trump.

    • ntt1

lets hope shes wrong, I am seeing plenty of walk backs and softening of trumps various positions , particularly those positions that captured the popular vote. She is a smart lady, …and her dismissal of trump worries me.

      • Alain

Why then did she not say she suspected Trump would not go through with banning Muslim immigration? It seems to me that this confirms she does not see a problem with Muslim immigration. As for Trump I can only hope he is not following “advice” from others about needing to soften his approach on matters. Political advisors have caused the fall and end of otherwise good leaders who heeded their advice.

        • ntt1

as I pointed out above, it really depends on who is picking up her security tab, for her it is life or death. fairly strong reason to follow dictated lines.

          • Brenda

A while back, Sam Harris set up something called the Ayan Hirsi Ali Security Trust to meet her security costs. I donated money to it, and later received notice that her security needs were successfully being met ‘on an ongoing basis,’ and that those who were making monthly donations could stop making them.
Security shouldn’t be a problem for her.

      • It’s Trump. He is not serious about being a leader.

  • OldGrayMare

She has no clit. You expect her to be rational?

  • BillyHW

Women shouldn’t be allowed to vote no matter who they are.

  • General P. Malaise

she has never really left Islam, she is still an apologist for islam.

    • That’s unfair. She’s done more to expose the reality of Islam than most people alive.

      • General P. Malaise

she tries to separate “radical ” islam from islam. and there is only one islam.

you can’t be on both sides of the issue and be credible.

      • lolwut?

No, she’s just part of the good cop, bad cop routine Muslims are playing on the west.

        • So she’s lying about being an atheist? She’s a secret Muslim?

          • lolwut?

Read the Quran and the Hadiths and you will understand what these so called “Moderates” and “Ex-Muslims” who defend Islam are doing.

To understand how and why they do what they do, you need to go to their instruction manuals.

Wanna know what the leftist do what they do?, Read “Rules for Radicals” by Saul Alinsky.

“Know thy enemy and know yourself; in a hundred battles, you will never be defeated. When you are ignorant of the enemy but know yourself, your
chances of winning or losing are equal. If ignorant both of your enemy
and of yourself, you are sure to be defeated in every battle.” – Art of War

  • T.C.

She’s allowed to dislike a politician. Maybe it’s completely irrational, but she’s allowed. I’m not all that enamoured with Trump, but what else is there at the moment?

  • The_Infidel_01

This is becoming a pattern for this girl.
She is all outraged at how bad women are treated in islam.
Suggest islam be dealt with and she gets all huffy.
I think her loyalties are still showing through.
