The Racist Trees of Our National Parks

Racist TreeMickey Fearn, the National Park Service Deputy Director for Communications and Community Assistance, made headlines when he claimed that black people don’t visit national parks because they associate them with slaves being lynched by their masters.

Yellowstone, the first national park, was created in 1872 in Wyoming. Slavery was over by then and no one had ever been lynching slaves around Old Faithful anyway. But false claims of racism die very hard.

  • Wow.

That is a whole lot of horse crap.

  • Drunk_by_Noon

So, if not enough blacks go to to National Parks, then whites will somehow have to be punished because of that.

      For everything.
You should visit stuff black people don’t like for a comprehensive list.

      • Drunk_by_Noon

        I have seen it.
I think the most polite thing I can say is that I am quite “done” with blacks.
I resolve to stop calling them black people and to just call them blacks.

All the black people I meet at work are engineers or technicians.
I’m privileged to work with them.

          • Drunk_by_Noon

Maybe, but I have never had such experiences.
All I have met, with only one exception, are the feral-American variety.

In Canada our ferals are different.
I grew up in low income housing.
            Seen it first hand.

There are many words in the English language as used in England.
PRAT is one that comes to mind.

    • dance…dancetotheradio

Yes, prat is apt but twat is apter.

      • AlanUK

        Prat
        Twat
Any advance on Twat (and still remain a family site and not upsetting the feline readers) …?

  • Ed

Paying taxes to support welfare leeches is also a white concept. Why don’t they ever complain about that?

    • Alain

      Hear! Hear!

  • Alain

Blacks in general do not do nature, even in Africa. It is neither right nor wrong, just a plain hard cold fact.

    • BillyHW

It’s true. I asked an African friend of mine if she had ever gone hiking or camping in any African parks and she just looked at me incredulously and said that hiking is for white people.

  • Norman_In_New_York

Nobody misses them if they stay away.

    • BillyHW

I know I’m glad about that too. The Asian tourists are annoying enough.

So if the trees are evil why don’t blacks visit death valley national park? No trees to bring back bad memories, or is it more likely that your average ghetto inhabitant would prefer to not go into the wild because it’s too far from the local bar scene, their drug dealer(s) and places that except EBT cards.
