Judges rule UK can’t deport 6 Muslim terrorists back to Algeria

Six Algerian terror suspects with links to Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda are to be allowed to stay in Britain after the Home Secretary admitted defeat in a ten-year legal battle to deport them.

The move follows a challenge under the Human Rights Act which found that the men were at risk of torture if they were deported to Algeria.

  • I’m thinking ‘First Manned Solar Impact Mission’ with streaming video.

  • simus1

“allowed to stay” is sort of beside the point, it’s the unstated “and allowed to get welfare and engage in all forms of terrorism and criminality they care to undertake in the face of minimal plod interest” that rankles.

    • It is an assault.

Some place with an alligator farm.

  • Hard Little Machine

Just elect them to Commons already

Then change the law. Judges apply the law. If they make it rather than apply it, ignore them.

    • Alain

You have not been paying attention, because the problem is that we have judges who make law instead of interpreting the law. While I cannot cite an example off the top of my head for the UK, there are many cases here and even in the United States where judges read it what is not there. I agree with you that when they do this, they should be ignored. In fact in my opinion they should be removed from the bench for incompetence.

      • simus1

British courts must operate within the strictures of Eurolaw which is very muslim terrorist friendly.

  • SMC_BC

If that’s the case then send them to British Antarctica.

    • Jaedo Drax

Plymouth, Montserrat would be a good place to keep them, there is lots of new land there, nobody around to worry about, and the climate is probably similar to Algeria.

      • SMC_BC

Nice choice but their survival rate might be too high – I think there is less risk of that pesky problem if they live in Antarctica.

        • tom_billesley

          Emerald Island is a candidate.

  • Ron MacDonald

    Liberal Judges?

    • Gary

It’s better that 10,000 innocent Brits die than for 1 guilty muslim terrorist to have the rights violated .

  • Alain

National security cannot be put into the hands of judges or even treated as simply criminal court cases. Imagine what the outcome would have been had this been the case during WW II.

  • BillyHW

Is it time to start killing our judges?

    • tom_billesley

The judges should each share a cell with one of the Algerians, so that they can make sure they’re not being tortured. Supply lubricant.

      • BillyHW

        Good idea.

      • Alain

No, they don’t deserve any lubricant, otherwise great idea.

  • Gary

Human Rights protections were meant for Humans .

  • eMan14

Deport them anyway, including the judge who made that decision.

  • AlanUK

    Deport them!
They should have thought of the consequences. (If you can’t do the time …)

Such insane laws make it impossible for Europeans to wage a war for survival against Islamic barbarians by ejecting 5,000 to 10,000 of them each and every day. They choose Islam, let them live (or die) by Islam.
