The agenda to ‘Make America Mexico Again.’

Last year, South Carolina’s Republican Governor Nikki Haley signed a bill to remove the Confederate battle flag from the grounds of the state capitol in Columbia. The June 17 massacre of nine African Americans in a Charleston church launched efforts to take down the banner, which evoked racism, segregation and the 1861-1864 war between the states. Last July, when South Carolina lowered the Confederate banner for the last time, the crowd responded with chants of “USA! USA!” During the 2016 presidential campaign, a different flag issue is coming to the fore.

Violent anti-Trump protesters have been waving the flag of Mexico.

Mexico is practically a failed state, with drug cartels in control of a substantial amount of territory.

But Mexithugs think they should expand their retro low-life influence even further.

I wonder how many of the people advocating for lands to be returned to Mexico actually want to live in Mexico themselves.

    • Alain

None since otherwise they would be in Mexico now.

I was a little surprised yesterday to find out that Cinco de Mayo was a celebration of a Mexican victory over a French army trying to make its way to the southern US in order to help the Confederacy fight against the Union. Now anybody who is a student of history knows that the American Civil War was a close fought one and the Confederacy lost because they were running out of men, whereas, the North had a steady influx of immigrants as well as a larger population base. Imagine if that French Army had prevailed and made it to the southern US. Considering the US had fought the Mexican-American War (which saw the addition of the South Western States and California)–that was pretty stupid of the Mexicans–instead of fighting the French they should have attacked the US while the bulk of the American fighting men were killing each other.

The ignorance and stupidity of those banning the Confederate flag is amazing. The civil war was not, contrary to the myth, fought to end slavery; it was to prevent states from leaving the union. When it comes to racism at that time in history, the North was no better than the South, and following the defeat of the South the Democrats remained the most responsible for racism and segregation.
