A confident Donald Trump spoke at the California Republican convention Friday, calling for party unity and predicting he will win the nomination easily.

While Trump was speaking inside, progressive protesters burned his image in effigy outside and blocked him from entering the venue—forcing him to abandon his motorcade on the way in.

Effigy is a small town in California.

  • I love it when Trump tells the “Kasich stuffing his face with pancake” story. It’s a regular feature on his campaign stops and I split a gut every time he tells it.

Trump understands visuals like no other.
He knows that you don’t step on Superman’s cape.
You don’t spit into the wind.
You don’t pull that mask off the old Lone Ranger.
And you don’t eat in public like John Kasich.
      Mm-hmm-hmm-mm-muh-hmm-hmm-hmm.

Amazing how the time line to show time is being compressed. Trump is one reason, Obama exiting is another. Time to understand that we’re already in the post-constitutional era.
