Happy Earth Day: Company Once Considered ‘Poster Child’ Of Clean Energy Files For Bankruptcy

It’s one thing when government decides to run your business into the ground thanks the endless red tape, which is what President Obama is doing with coal. It’s another thing to go under because Americans simply want affordable energy, carbon emission be damned (and rightfully so), and don’t want to pay a lot of money. I know, how rational of them. SunEdison was once a $10 billion giant in the clean energy business. It has now filed for Chapter 11 protections, while also showing that clean energy isn’t the future.

It’s only a great way to burn a lot of other people’s money.

Why is Earth Day on Vladimir Lenin’s birthday?

Check it out. He was born on April 22, 1870.

Why does this not surprise me?

And the very first Earth Day was celebrated in 1970. Just one of those cosmic coincidences:

I suspect it was planned for that day.

I am waiting for an international day celebrating the end of marxists, loonies, want-to-be dictators or control freaks, for then I’ll actually have something to celebrate.

Of course none of the so-called green energy projects are able to exist without taking huge amounts of money stolen from working folk. One must be extremely slow and thick or an ideologue not to see what a major scam this is.

To paraphrase Dan Needles/Wingfield’s Farm: Producing “green energy” is like standing in a field and tearing up $1,000 bills.
