To be kind is to be cruel, to be cruel is to be kind

Just after the September 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center, I warned that radical Islam would horrify the West into submission. In Europe, it has taken a giant step towards success. Europe’s horror at the prospect of human suffering has made it supine. Sadly, the more the Europeans indulge in their humanitarian impulses, the more Muslims will suffer. To be kind is to be cruel.

The Daily Mail recently described an incident off the coast of Italy:

The 240ft Monica had been spotted in international waters during the night.

When Italian coastguard boats drew alongside, the crews were shocked to see men and women on board begin dangling the infants over the side.

The refugees – mostly Kurds and many said to be heading for Britain – calmed down only when they were assured they would not be turned away from Italy.

What kind of people threaten to murder their own babies?

And now I have this stuck in my head:

    • Great tune!

      • Kathy Prendergast

The phrase “cruel to be kind” comes from Shakespeare; Hamlet tells his mother “I must be cruel only to be kind”…rather ironically, considering he has just spent a whole scene verbally abusing her and basically calling her a murderous whore, and killing an innocent man right in front of her. In his case, the “kindness” never really kicks in!

There aren’t many better ear worms.
I drop a few here that would make you hate me.

Never value the lives of your enemy more than he values his own.
    Kurds, eh?
    Hummm… curious!

    • Kathy Prendergast

Kurds are an ethnic minority in Iraq, not Arabs, but they are still Muslims.

      • Drunk_by_Noon

Yes, I said that because I’m beginning to suspect that in spite of all the pro Kurd propaganda, that they are no better than any of the other Musums in the region.

      • dance…dancetotheradio

        That’s what I don’t understand.
How can conservatives support the Kurds when they are still muslims?

        A great movie!

  • Brenda

The kind of people who understand the degenerate modern mindset that says it’s the recipient of charity who is doing the giver a favour by deigning to accept his charity. Back in the day, the church and the poorhouses used to expect the poor to grovel abjectly to receive a crust of bread. This was deemed demeaning, which it was; but soon enough any form of gratitude was seen as humiliating, welfare became ever more generous and became a right, and now we’ve reached the opposite end of the spectrum where beggars threaten their benefactors.

    • Well said, the virtue signalers thrive on the accolades.

    • Waffle

Brenda, I hear you but I don’t think it applies in this case. The Kurds have demonstrated that they are effing primitives, just like their fellow Muslims. They know exactly what strings to pull on the Westerer’s bleeding hearts including the sacrifice of their own children. They do not think nor feel like we do. What’s so hard to understand? One more time: they do not think nor feel like we do. OK?

“What kind of people threaten to murder their own babies?”

The kind Turdo wants here to vote Liberal forever.

  • B@$#@rds.

But the culture of death is not limited to these freaks, unfortunately.

  • Hard Little Machine

I don’t care. Allah will provide. Or not.

The West sooner or later will have to start making the choice of Solomon and call them on their bluff. Most of them probably won’t actually drown their own kids, even if they’re not above threatening to do so, as true parental instincts will prevent it. In a few cases, they won’t, and some babies will die. Sadly, we have to be prepared to allow that to happen, just like Solomon knew there was a chance both “mothers” of the baby would agree to it being cut in half. But continuing to allow them to use their children as bargaining chips is the worse evil.

    • Waffle

Pardon me for being a bit pedantic, but you are referring to the Judgement of Solomon. It was the mothers that had to make the choice.

IMHO, these most of these primitives would probably drown their babies. Their “religion”, regardless of which ethnic group is involved, appears to be at opposite ends to the values that shape Western civilization. The one nagging thought I can’t get out of my head is: what kind of religion exhorts its followers to humiliate and demean those who follow a different religion? How come in 2016 we live in a world where more than 1 billion creatures are stuck in a 6th century mentality?

Further. IMHO, the greater evil is to invite these creatures to live side-by-side with those who have learned a few things over the centuries. Are we so blind that we cannot comprehend what is happening in Germany, Sweden and France and now (but the MSM is doing it’s very best to keep a tight lid on it) in the Maritimes, in Lethbridge and parts of Toronto?

What makes you think it’s their own babies?

  • Pavelina

Muslims killed 3000 on 9/11, and ever since we haven’t been able to do enough for them. “Is life so dear or peace so sweet as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery?” It’s only a matter of time.
