Islamic State in Libya ‘direct threat’ to Britain says Fallon

Islamic State militants spreading across Libya pose a direct threat to Britain and the UK must do “everything possible” to stabilise the country, the Defence Secretary has said.

Michael Fallon said there was “a strong British interest” in trying to secure a country “on our doorstep”, as he met European defence ministers to discuss a possible troop mission.

The Foreign Secretary meanwhile ruled out sending combat troops to the troubled country, but said hundreds of military trainers could be deployed. Warplanes or warships may also be called for.

David Cameron’s “conservatives” pose a direct threat to Britain

Yeah, cause bombing the site out of the country will surely stabilize it. If england is scared, they need to a: rebuild their ground forces, and b: send them there on a long term mission. Own the ground, establish a friendly or puppet government and reap the rewards. That’s what made them a super power before, why not now?

Maybe overthrowing the Lybian government wasn’t such a good idea after all.
