work for thee but not for me

    • Okay, there’s a bit of confusion here — in other reports Sanders did in fact eventually meet with the Pope. The Pope was quoted in those reports (Fox News no less). Was it a hoax?

milking an invitation for him into family vacation was no hoax

  • He definitely would have been kicked out of our Christian commune in New Mexico (’71 – ’73). We got such a good reputation as hard workers that local Police, Health authorities etc., would call on us as volunteers to help out with the real “messy” stuff that no other organizations would touch (e.g. cleaning up rat-infested, feces-contaminated homes of people with mental disorders; working with violent young offenders, etc.) Bernie and the Left elite from that generation were all wannabees, or what we referred to as “weekend hippies” — they were too interested in protesting the Viet Nam war than to actually get their hands dirty and help someone in need.

But ….but….working is for peasants! Not for lofty intellectuals like Saunders. They have the onerous obligation of doing all the thinking. Can you imagine the mess if we allowed the stupid filthy knuckle dragging commoners to dictate public policy?
