Idle No More, #BlackLivesMatter occupy Toronto Indigenous and Northern Affairs office – no one gives a damn

Let em stay, but lock the doors, cut off the water heat and hydro.

  • Mark

Race hustlers always stick together when there might be government cheques handed out.

Have all the indians move to the Jane and Finch area and let them all sing Kumbaya together.

    • reidjr

I do think there is a difference between natives who does have legit issues yes there mad at the wrong people but there are issues and you have BLM that at this point is making up stats.

      • tom_billesley

Issues that will only be fixed by other people, never them.

    • dance…dancetotheradio

I still bet the line is longer at the H and R block for them to sell their tax returns.

  • andycanuck

…and then make them pay for the repair and cleanup work required after locking them in.

    • Maurixio Garciasanchez

They are collecting welfare that means taxpayers have to pay for them.

  • Surele Surele

How about this, idle no more, please become really idle no more: clean up your neighborhood, clean up and repair the houses you live in. That would be a start. With so many people that can be idle no more, and the $$$$ sent your way every year, there would not be need for protests. or time, for that matter, cause you would be ‘idle no more’ building up your towns and villages and better future for your children.

    • lolwut?

That would require them to overthrow the chiefs and councils that are usually all part of the same family.

Part of the problem on reserves is these same chiefs use native gangs
to keep the others in line, I you speak out or ask questions you are going to get a visit.

On Mohawk reserves they’ll burn your house down.

” ……started the occupation with a die-in on the floor of the office ….”
” …..they are standing in solidarity with the Attawapiskat community ….”
    The Standing Dead?

    • ntt1

they are celebrating the government funded idleness of the indian culture and the sheer pointlessness of their existence which is now leading to mass suicides/.

      • Clausewitz

Not to mention a chief who gained 20 pounds while on a hunger strike.

    • Exile1981

      Walking dead

  • If the occupying bums burn down the office, the Indians may start looking for jobs. By the way, what happened to the fat starving Chief Theresa Spence?

  • Shebel

Maybe the Natives should stand ,shoulder to shoulder, with the White people that feel , ‘Helpless’ with the burden of knowledge that we have been taxed to the tune of over $10,000,000,000 , every year —- to support the Natives
And our Native Brothers— still don’t have descent housing , water or food.

    This money is going somewhere.
It is just NOT going to the People that really NEED it.

WE are ALL on the same side . We just don’t know it.

It would be nice to see some accounting books from BOTH sides.

    JUSTIN disagrees.

  • Blind Druid

As per usual, there are never comments allowed on any aboriginal story by the CBC. Seems to indicate an acknowledgement by them that the Canadian public are sick to death of the non stop whining by these useless parasitic people.

    • Shebel

You are saying that ‘Silence means Consent’. Usually it does.
The problem of ‘Silence” is when the Media is totally silent on problems faced by a People – and that silence portrays these People as useless parasites by the Silence of their Government to take responsibility .
The Stereotyping has been accomplished .
      Way to go CBC !!

    • Will Quest

They are the CBC’s endangered specie ……….and their recent manifesto
{ truth and reconciliation} called for a raise in tax dollars for the CBC…… clever ! PAYOLA with other people’s money !
