8 Things You Need To Know About Ted Cruz’s Sex Scandal

TEXAS – The National Enquirer just dropped a bombshell on the Cruz campaign and the internet exploded overnight. Reports claim investigators found Ted Cruz allegedly had an affair with five different women.

  • Drunk_by_Noon

The Enquirer broke the John Edwards scandal, after all the major networks already knew, and then sat on the story for over a year.

    • Clink9

The networks will spin this as Trump’s fault.

    • Yes and many others dismissed as beneath the dignity of the MSM gatekeepers.

In Canada NDP leader Jack Layton was found naked at a whorehouse, that was kept under wraps by the MSM. The Lying bastards.

      • lolwut?

Layton and his late night trips into Chinatown weren’t a big secret
when I lived around there. He was spotted at all the shady joints
        around Spadina a lot.

Same with the subsidized housing and keeping a bicycle in the trunk of his city paid limo.

        • BillyHW

Is his funeral over yet? Can I turn on the TV again?

          • dance…dancetotheradio

The only good thing that came out of the last election is that Olivia Chow, the champion of the peepo did not get elected again.
Fucking bitch has been in Canada for over forty years and she still speaks like a coolie.

    • k1962

I was just going to type that.

  • God’s Honor

Like a good Christian he went forth and multiplied. Or he did his best trying to.

    • So sad, if this proves true.

      • Clausewitz

And then there’s Horny Bill. Seems that sex scandals never seem to matter to Democrats. Funny that.

  • Clink9

They couldn’t have published this before Utah?

    • Believe it or not the Enquirer takes great care to lawyer up before publishing a story like this, sworn affidavits etc have to made. That takes time.

      • Clink9

Yes, but the timing stinks on this one. It would have been fun watching the Mormons dump on Cruz.

      • Brett_McS

They use the lawyers to police their language to make sure that they don’t actually say anything that is actionable. It’s all “comment about public figures”. Sworn affidavits. Ha!

  • Tom Forsythe

This campaign has revealed Ted Cruz for the snake he is. I am disappointed, but glad it is out.

    • Richard_Romano

Yes, and Trump is a paragon of virtue? He’s not going anywhere and this story is bunk.

      • dance…dancetotheradio

        Everybody loves Raymond.
        You, not so much.

        • andycanuck

Isn’t ‘Richard’ the tall brother cop??

          • dance…dancetotheradio

            Looked it up.
            It’s Robert.

          • andycanuck

            (Was just joking.)

          • dance…dancetotheradio

And I’m sometimes too literal minded.

      • Tom Forsythe

The point is that Cruz isn’t the moral alternative to Trump. He is more like the political equivalent of Benny Hinn.

        • ntt1

he will need one of those cool greenish toupees that hinge at the back.

        • dance…dancetotheradio

Sorry I missed your comment earlier.
Benny Hinn, that’s slicing right to the point.
          Thank you.
I hadn’t looked at it like that before.

      • ntt1

did your friends call you “dick cheese”?

        • Millie_Woods

          Bada Boom!

      • V10_Rob

Doesn’t really budge my opinion of Cruz. He did more damage to himself when he sided with the anti-Trump rent-a-mob.

It’s a little disappointing, but I’ve long since given up on worrying too much about any politician’s personal moral character. I don’t want a saint, I want a cutthroat bastard who remembers whose team he’s playing for.

        • dance…dancetotheradio

Any candidate that sided with the anti-Trump rent-a-mob immediately nixed themselves.
And I believe that reflected in the polls and the voting.
It was such an obvious forced error for Rubio and Cruz to use that the way they did.

    • Brett_McS

This campaign has revealed that a disturbing number of people will believe anything that a vacuous, loud mouthed demagogue – and a below-average businessman – tells them (even when washed through the Enquirer, no less) once he has got the dupes to take his bait.

      • Tom Forsythe

The final straw for me, when it comes to Cruz, was not standing with his fellow Republican and defending free speech at the Chicago riots. Instead, he piled on and blamed Trump, repeating Democratic talking points.

        • Brett_McS

He blamed the rioters first and foremost, but did also criticize Trump for his “knock them out, I will pay your legal bills” instructions to his supporters (many a truth said in jest). Maybe not the ultimate in defending free speech, but Cruz had a point.

          • dance…dancetotheradio

He shouldn’t have criticized Trump at all in that instance.
If you can’t see that then I don’t know how to reason with you.

  • Maggat

Come on now, this is 2016 (15) remember?

  • Kaye92

Yikes – if this turns out to be true. It’s so hard to have respect for public figures/celebrities nowadays (at least living ones): it seems they always turn out to be critically flawed upon closer scrutiny ….

  • The grapevine says the Cruz campaign has been preparing for this for 5 weeks.

So what does that tell you?

  • “Breitbart Had Story But Chose Not To Publish”

Any questions as to their journalistic integrity?

  • What sort of idiot would want more than one woman?

    • Kaye92

      Gene Simmons?

    • Clink9

      Masochist?

    • God’s Honor

      Solomon had 700 wives. 😉

      • V10_Rob

So much for his vaunted ‘wisdom’.

        • DavidinNorthBurnaby

“One wife will make you happy, two will make you dead.”

    • DMB

      Arnold Schwarzenegger

    • Norman_In_New_York

A Brazilian joke. “Everybody says that every Brazilian man has nine girlfriends. What I want to know is, where are my other seven?”

  • Brett_McS

The CEO of the National Enquirer is a long-time friend of Donald Trump.

    • H

And if they’re fabricating the story, even partially, to aid Trump’s campaign, then it is a BIG mistake. First, he doesn’t need their help – he can handle Cruz all by himself – and secondly, if they’re caught out, it will backfire badly, and actually harm Trump.

      • Brett_McS

One of the women named as having had an affair with Cruz has already repudiated it on national television. Does that count?

        • Brett_McS

Update: Now it’s two of the women. One of whom is on Trump’s own campaign.
Looks like the NE are keeping their reputation intact!

    • Drunk_by_Noon

But Ben Shapiro was getting PAID by one of Team Cruz’s PACs.
That did oodles for Breitbart’s cred.
It damn near sunk them, but they only cut him loose after they could hid his double dealing anymore.
The slime trail with Cruz is epic.

      • Brett_McS

As you should know, PACs have no connection with the candidate. They are independent entities, which is the point of their existence in the tax code.

        • WalterBannon

sure, wanna buy a bridge in Brooklyn?

          • Brett_McS

If they were being controlled by the candidate then that itself would be a scandal worth following, because that would be actually illegal.

          • barryjr

Keep telling yourself that I’m sure you’ll believe it one day.

        • Drunk_by_Noon

There is no way you actually believe that, do you?
They are LEGALLY separate entities, but do you really think that they are these multi-million dollar ‘lose cannons’ just doing whatever they feel like?

    • Clink9

      So Trump did do it!

      • Brett_McS

Endorsed Trump? Yes, they did do that.

        • Clink9

          I knew it.

  • Donald Trump on Cruz tabloid report about alleged infidelities: ‘I had absolutely nothing to do with it, did not know about it, and have not, as yet, read it’ – @stevebruskCNN

  • Spatchcocked

Having five women as well as wife was part of his Utah strategy showing he was down with Polygamy etc etc etc yammer yammer yada yada is the way I’d spin it …..it was just for the delegates….
    It’s plausible enough……
    I’d believe it..

    • dance…dancetotheradio

      Beauty!
I have asked the question if Trump might have had a better chance in Utah if he had kept his two previous wives.

  • Spatchcocked

Where’s Slick Willy in all this?

I smell a vast left wing conspiracy!!!

    • DavidinNorthBurnaby

Willy’s probably getting a little “r&r” aboard the Lolita Express.

  • Maxsteele

Cannot believe you are posting this BS obvious hit piece. Pierson has already denied that this happened and you would think, of anyone, she would be the first to admit to it as she is Trump’s attack dog.
Just because a broken clock is right twice a day does not mean it can tell time. Hope you will post a retraction and apology when this all turns out to be a huge lie.

    • Drunk_by_Noon

This “broken clock” has been right more than a few times about such stories.

      • Maxsteele

I look forward to seeing your post on the ease in which you fall so easily for tabloid trash. Another tabloid has been trying to dig up this trash since January and found nothing. Then all of a sudden, the NE, who’s owner is a close friend of Trumps, comes out with this and the only person they quote in the story is Trump’s advisor?? Yes, that is hard hitting evidence there. Two of the women who’s pictures were so disgustingly posted in this hit piece have 100% said the story is not true. As I said, one of which is Pierson who is so far up Trump’s butt hole it is a shock she was honest and said it was not true about her. Yet here you are, truly drunk by noon.

      • Brett_McS

No, only a few times. Three to be exact. In more than 30 years of muck-raking.

      • Norman_In_New_York

The late Joan Rivers used to garner much laughter when she declared that the National Enquirer never lies.

    • Clink9

      Umm. Blaze didn’t write it.

    • Brett_McS

Yes, a broken clock is right much more often than the NE.

    • I don’t know that it’s true, or not, I would not discount the Enquirer, contrary to popular belief they do not post stories of this type on a whim.

  • mauser 98

Glenn Beck , Ben Shapiro , Mark Levin on this ?

    • Brett_McS

I don’t know about Beck, but the other two deal in evidence and facts, neither of which have made an appearance.

      • mauser 98

        Shapiro jumped ship on Breitbart…connected?
        Beck has become nauseous

        • Brett_McS

That was about the treatment of a Breitbart reporter (who also resigned) by the management at Breitbart over an incident at a Trump rally.

          • barryjr

And now there is speculation that she was one of the 5 women.

          • lolwut?

A reporter with a long history of bogus claims and who actively participated in the lefty street theater tactics at Occupy Wall Street.

        • DavidinNorthBurnaby

I think maybe Beck has gone back to abusing substances or maybe its just the past catching up to him.

      • dance…dancetotheradio

Ben Shapiro is a good debater but he also deals in who signs his paycheques.

        • Brett_McS

He’s a very wealthy man … but not from occasional support from a PAC during an election.

          • dance…dancetotheradio

            He’s wrong about Trump.

          • Brett_McS

I’m genuinely interested to know in what is he wrong about Trump? He used to support Trump, but changed his mind.

          • dance…dancetotheradio

            I don’t know.
I didn’t like Trump on the Apprentice but I watched it anyway.
People don’t realize that show was a ten year job interview -for Trump.

          • Brett_McS

That’s certainly the way politics has been trending, so I suppose it was inevitable that a reality show would come along and sweep the field.

  • mauser 98

i like Cruz …hope it is not true.. a big loss
    Inquirer has nothing on Clintons?

    • Brett_McS

Did it turn out that Ben Carson was a paedophile after all? I forgot.

      • mauser 98

        no …that was Trumpster recoil

  • This ugly, this soon. It’s going to be an interesting summer.

  • Brett_McS

Since The Donald has called every one of his primary opponents a liar or worse with little or no justification, I wonder how well he will do calling out an actual liar, The Hilldebeast, in the general? Also, since Donald’s language skills seemed to have topped out at about 2nd grade perhaps he didn’t get to The Boy Who Cried Wolf? Or, he’s a Hillary plant? Some of the fascinating speculation that won’t appear in the National Enquirer any time soon.

    • k1962

I wish someone would bring the Hilldabeast down already!

      • Brett_McS

I can just hear the cackling response now “Donald Trump calls everyone a liar; it’s what he does”

        • andycanuck

He shut Hillary up very effectively already over the “Trump hates women” attack for her support for her rapist husband.

          • Brett_McS

Whether they are right or wrong to be so the Democrats are convinced that Trump will be easy for them to defeat (with the help of their media, of course). So they want him to be the nominee.

          • El Martyachi

That’s largely because they assume women will vote as a block. If that turns out to be the case, the world will get its just deserts.

    • lolwut?

Trumps language and behavior depends on the venue in which he is speaking.

The over the top stuff is for the big crowds, he turns it off during one on one interviews.

  • canminuteman

The National Enquirer is as accurate as any other paper these days. It’s likely more accurate than the New York Times.

  • ntt1

maybe he thought all those women had delegate votes?

  • tom_billesley

If it was the Italian or French presidency, then true or not this would help him.

  • Millie_Woods

This is turning out to be the greatest election ever.

    • Brett_McS

Like a slow-motion train wreck, it would get great ratings if it could be packaged into a reality show.

    • Norman_In_New_York

At least the greatest since 2000, when Florida hanged Chad and the election was decided by the Supreme Court. Bush the Younger boasted, “They misunderestimated me!”

      • Millie_Woods

Ummm, I’m not so sure Norm. Trump has been nothing short of an international tour de force, pissing off everyone from Mexico to China with the U.K. Parliament debating barring him from entry (those are all pluses BTW). Hillary is under investigation for imprisonable offences, riots are being threatened, throw in a socialist loon and the return of Sara Palin and now we hear holy roller Ted Cruiser has not 1, not 2, but 5 pieces of fluff on the side….

IMO dangling chads wasn’t even a warmup for this.

        • DavidinNorthBurnaby

“Ted Cruiser has not 1, not 2, but 5 pieces of fluff on the side….” *allegedly* fify 😉

        • lolwut?

That debate over barring Trump wasn’t Parliament, it was a group of people who had no power to do it if they wanted to.

The petition was bogus as well, it was pushed almost entirely
by Muslim groups and signed mostly by Muslims.

          • Millie_Woods

You’re right of course. But if the petition garnered enough signatures (I think the threshold is 250K) it triggered an automatic mention in Parliament. I just like to bring it up because the Brits have become such pathetic wankers.

          • DavidinNorthBurnaby

Kind of insulting to pathetic wankers. 😉

    • Clink9

People are losing their shit. I’m loving it.

      • Millie_Woods

        Isn’t it great?

  • andycanuck

And here’s virulently anti-Trump Ace mentioning the Rubio connection to this (after it was repeatedly pointed out to him in comments) even if he does still blame Trump:
    http://acecomments.mu.nu/?post=362350

    • Interesting.

      • andycanuck

It might be the GOPe behind it too hitting both non-establishment leaders trying to force the brokered convention where someone more palatable to them can be manoeuvred to victory.

  • Note. I do not know if the claims made in this story are true or not.

That said, denials are routine when this sort of thing erupts.

Do not discount the National Enquirer, they have a track record of breaking just this sort of story.

Remember to keep the comments civil.

    Thanks.

    • Brett_McS

The National Enquirer’s track record is three correct scandals in over 30 years of constant muck raking.

Their MO is to publish and then dare people to sue, knowing that few have the resources to do so.

    • Brett_McS

Routine denial? By Trump’s own spokeswomen! I would hardly call that routine. “Devastating to the story” would be more accurate.

      • We’ll see Brett.

        • Brett_McS

Are you sure Ben Carson isn’t a paedophile?

          • Brent your position Trump is well known;)

          • Brett_McS

I don’t know, I think he’s a loud-mouth, slanderous vulgarian who will say anything to gain an advantage. I think his low character is plenty of evidence (more than NE would need) to suggest that he will screw his supporters right royally at the first opportunity. Did that come across? 😉

          • Well, just a bit;)

          • Clink9

            Zat you Ace?

          • Brett_McS

            No, but he sounds intriguing.

          • Clink9

Why did you change your comment?

          • Brett_McS

I forgot what I said exactly. I used to read Ace many years ago. I’m thinking perhaps he has matured a bit since those frat-boy days.

          • Clink9

I’m thinking he got a sex change.

          • El Martyachi

Hey, easy on the loud-mouthed, slanderous vulgarians who’ll say anything to gain an advantage.

          • Clink9

It used to be a fun drinking game but my liver can’t hold up now.

  • Brett_McS

I think I have worked out why Trump has done this: He doesn’t want to debate Cruz one-on-one, so he has made the environment so toxic that Cruz will want nothing to do with him.

  • Spatchcocked

We’re still being stitched up….look it’s obvious Hitlarry is a dyke…..it’s obvious Huma will do anything for her Muslim Brotherhood sponsors including sushi.
Huma will bang a Jew…even a degenerate Jew to further the destruction of our miserable house….she even had a sprog by the Jew prevert.

So why hasn’t NE done an expose on those two dyke traitors? They’ve had how many years to collect the skinny…?

Even Bill says Hitlary has eaten more pussy than him.

So if they can’t bust the dykes I cut Cruz some slack.

  • unalien

This NE story is 100% bullshit and it actually originated from the Rubio campaign operatives to hit Cruz and Trump as one of the women is Trumps national spokesperson, it has been floated under the radar for a while so many knew about it.. and many newsers researched it and found it COMPLETE BS.. However, somebody at the NE decided to run with it, the piece is carefully crafted to try to avoid libel suits. Trumps friend runs the NE, did he act on his own?? who knows, but they ran a fake story to harm Cruz and support Trump.

Another note,, Blazing Catfur, Ezra and people who have claimed to be “conservatives”,,, there is a great deal of social media and “internet media” manipulation out there, Trump and many of his rabid followers are employing “Liberal” Alinsky tactics to manipulate opinions and narratives, even blogs.

If true Conservatism at its core is the pursuit of truth,, then Trump is no Conservative. I have done enough research on Trump to know that he would be a disaster as POTUS and it is unlikely he can beat Hillary with his likability scores..

    • Brett_McS

For sure the Trump campaign has been involved in this as well.

      • unalien

Could be, I just don’t know who made the call to run with it, but the original oppo research came from Rubio operatives. It was vetted and rejected by everyone until NE, even Cruz was tipped off that this was out there.

    • Clink9

“unlikely he can beat Hillary with his likability scores..”

That seems to be all they’ve got lately.

If true, you’ve nothing to worry about.

      • unalien

I worry about two “Statist” running, Hillary and Trump, both disasters.. one an adolescent narcissistic sociopath, the other Hillary.

        • Brett_McS

Hillary would be a disaster, but if there is something remaining of the constitutional Republican wing, it would be a repairable one. If the Republicans go Full Trump then there will be no one left to pick up the pieces. Future politics will be the succession of ‘strong men’ that they have in South America.

          • Clink9

Your going full Ace now. You can’t really believe that.

If the country is still standing after Obamy, nothing will beat them.

          • Brett_McS

Oh, the country will still be there. It just won’t be America as we knew it. More like a European country, or perhaps a South American one. Obama will have done his job, and Trump will put the cherry on top.

          • Clink9

It’s how they do it down there. The one with the most votes wins. Nothing anyone here can do about that.

        • Clink9

It’s your funeral. I’m just a Canadian watching the best election of my life.

          • unalien

I am Canadian as well and I despise Modern Liberalism and Progressivism.. if you look there is enough info on Trump to realize that he is not a Conservative. He is a NY Liberal, a Statist, a disaster for Conservatism and individual liberty..

          • Clink9

And he looks like a disaster to the establishment, the muzzles, and illegal Mexicans. All people that deserve a smackdown.

          • unalien

they do, but Trump is advocating touchback amnesty, the illegals “touch” outside US then the good ones come back in,, that is the old GOP amnesty plan..

and he will cut deals with the establishment.. especially the Liberal establishment..

Trump Tower was funded by George Soros

        • El Martyachi

Hey, easy on the adolescent narcissistic sociopaths.

    • lolwut?

I call out bogus stories/pictures/videos when I see them and post proof when I have it.

If anything doesn’t pass the sniff test I check.
