Over 600 people injured in ISIS chemical attack as jihadi group’s triple suicide bomb assault is foiled by Kurdish forces in Iraq

A group of ISIS bombers have been shot dead by Kurdish forces during an attempted suicide bomb attack near the Iraqi city of Kirkuk.

The jihadi group claimed responsibility for the trio of suicide bombers, two of whom appear to have been only teenagers.

‘The militants were gunned down before they could detonate themselves,’ commander Kamal Kirkuki told Rudaw.

The news comes as ISIS launched two chemical attacks near Kirkuk, killing a three-year-old girl and wounding some 600 people.

These Kurdish chaps are clearly made of sterner stuff than the Iraqis who flee from ISIS. I continue to be impressed with them.
