Barack Obama says David Cameron allowed Libya to become a ‘s*** show’

Barack Obama has sharply criticised David Cameron for the UK’s role in allowing Libya to become a “shit show” after the fall of the dictator Muammar Gaddafi, in an unprecedented attack on a British leader by a serving US President.

Mr Obama said that following a successful military intervention to aid rebels during the 2011 Arab Spring revolt, Libya was left to spiral out of control – due largely to the inaction of America’s European allies.

In a candid US magazine interview, Mr Obama said: “When I go back and I ask myself what went wrong… there’s room for criticism, because I had more faith in the Europeans, given Libya’s proximity, being invested in the follow-up.”

I wonder what Bama is saying about Justin’s bug out from Syria?

M, good post. Disney shard have fallen, over the six months, given the increasing number of people snipping the ESPN channel. One wonders if an increasing number of conservtives will snip ESPN fr its political correctness.

ESPN also rants about gun control , Black lives matters etc.

        • David Murrell

Didn’t know that. I sold my Disney shares at about $125 a share last summer, and now they are at $94 a share, and all of the decline is due to falling ESPN viewership. Perhaps a boyott has already begun.

ESPN showed a montage of historical moments such as Rosa Parks, “Hands
Up Don’t Shoot” protests, Tamir Rice protests, “Black Lives Matter”
marches, pro athletes wearing “I Can’t Breathe” shirts to games, 1968
Olympics “Black Power” salute, “I Am a Man” protests, as well as other
            civil rights moments in history.

Part of the problem is that American’s don’t like going to Disney World where Main street America is quickly being transferred into Main Street 3rd World through their new hiring practises. Have the old employees train their 3rd world replacements then shit can the higher earning original employees.

          • David Murrell

The was fairly good article in the Globe and Mail detailing how badly Disney treats its Disney World workers. Most of the workers receive poverty wages –and this article came out before the immigran-replacement scandal broke out.

Americans endorsing Trump suffer for it. Apart from Mike Ditka, there’s NASCAR driver Brian France and NFL QB Tom Brady.

Then there is the story about President Obama badmouthing then-Prime Minister Gordon Brown, a few months before Brown’s defeat in his election against Conservative David Cameron. Competent observers wondered why Obama would attack an old-style left-wing socialist like Brown. Some say it is due to Obama’s dilike of liberal democracies, and his affinity for totalitarian states (like Castro’s Cuba). But others point to the fact that Obama hates Britain, since it colonized Kenya (Obama’s ancestral home) at one time. This reason, I think, is why Obama attacked David Cameron here.

Obviously, it is rude and nasty for a U.S. president to attack a sitting world leader. But Obama gets away with his usual stuff, given the lack of media scrutiny.

Emperor Barry’s antipathy for fellow national leaders senior to him in the incumbency dept seemed totally non partisan as to what part of the political spectrum they occupied. He also also seemed to have a visceral reaction to those who were bilingual or multilingual when hosting press conferences he attended outside the US. Strange and uncool.
