Melissa Harris-Perry and her cable TV bosses have gone splitsville, both sides said on Sunday.
“Farewell #Nerdland. Inviting diverse new voices to table was a privilege,” tweeted Harris-Perry, who threw a very public tantrum last week in the wake of her weekend show being pre-empted in recent weeks in favor of live news cover of the Democratic and GOP presidential primaries. “Grateful for years of support & criticism.”
An MSNBC rep confirmed the network and Harris-Perry had “parted ways.”
