Twitter now censoring links to Bare Naked Islam by claiming site is “unsafe” and full of malware etc.

This is what I got when I tried to access an article on the site via a Tweet:

The link you are trying to access has been identified by Twitter or our partners as being potentially harmful. This link could lead to a site that:

  • installs malicious software programs on your computer
  • steals your password or other personal information
  • collects your personal information for spam purposes

Ignore this warning and continue

Here’s what BNI had to say when I moseyed on over there. These people are shameless totalitarians, and not honest ones.

    • Yikes!

BTW, you got upvoted by spam.

      • Brett_McS

Wow, I didn’t know they could do that! In the year 2525 all comments will be by spambots.

It’s possible site was hacked, or malicious “ads” are causing problems. I really hope that “link may be unsafe” isn’t abused for political censorship.

    • That only comes up if you try to enter the site via Twitter, though.

      • luna

Is the warning provided by Twitter?

Sounds like it is. I wouldn’t be surprised if Twitter is censoring links for political reasons. I tried Twitter and liked the platform, but it is not to my knowledge built on principles of freedom of speech.

If memory serves me, BNI has been targeted for YEARS by jihadis and their sympathizers.
Likely, they all put in coordinated spurious complaints and that’s what got the site labled as a malware factory.
I see WAY more bad code from the advertisers at WeaselZippers than I ever did at BNI.
I don’t see anything wrong over there today.
BNI has really gotten under some baddies skins.

BNI was actually shut down because of comments. Once they were purged, the site returned. They stay in the cross hairs.

I said three or so years ago that Twitter is a Saudi Muslim scam and it is proving to be true. I refused to use it from the beginning and never will.

  • Gary

I’ve mentioned that faceBook is now censoring photos even when they are public domain on Google where anyone can look at them. So far , muslims and Gays have objected and filed a complaint where the pix was removed.
I’m wondering what FB will do for a Photo of Justin next to the topless Ginger girl which is very legal in Canada and Justin was proud of our Liberalism , or his March in the PRIDE parade this year next to the TNT males that are only wearing shoes and exposing them self on Yonge street while children are around.

Oh well I installed Twitter on my computer but never looked at it so I just uninstalled it. I don’t need anything from a censorship crew.

Sure enuff, tried to tweet a BNI post and no go. Twitter are a bunch of assholes.
