Pamela Geller- CPAC Turns Me Away…Yet Again

Longtime supporters and followers of my work are acutely aware of the ongoing problems with the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Washington, D.C. For years, I have wrestled and wrangled with and cajoled the CPAC organizers to allow me the same privilege they routinely extend to other conservative groups: the right to host events at the largest gathering of conservatives in the country. Every year I faced roadblocks, delays, and lame excuses — all stemming from the crippling cowardice of the CPAC leadership and its adamant refusal to grapple honestly with the jihad threat. This year, with jihadis threatening the whole world, it hasn’t gotten better — it has gotten worse.

So CPAC organisers do not support the basic freedom: freedom of speech, which makes me think they are also at a loss as to why Trump scores so well. While none of us truly know how sincere Trump is, he continues winning the popular opinion due to having the guts to ignore all the PC crap.

    • Exeectly so. CPAC listens to Grover Nordquist et al.

      • Dana Garcia

Grover is evil. I will take CPAC seriously when they get rid of him.

      • Minicapt

Grover runs the CPAC; Grover is married to a ‘palestinian’ of the female persuasion.

      • Trump is no solid conservative, I agree with that.

It’s what bothers me. His die-hard fans think he’s a saviour. If he can control immigration then he does all we want, and it is fun to watch him give the establishment hell and send them running for the smelling salts, pearls a-clutched. But he isn’t reliable. I’d vote for him. I don’t trust him.

        • Brett_McS

I think he’s more likely to ally with the establishment against the real conservatives because “Ted Cruz is a nasty man”.

    • Clausewitz

CPAC has basically become an American Rino reserve these days.

    • Zaba

PC will be the death of us.

  • Dana Garcia

I looked at CPAC’s preliminary schedule and didn’t see Ann Coulter or Mark Krikorian either.

    • Brett_McS

They haven’t let Ann Coulter in for a few years now. Brain dead they are.
