Preparing for the Collapse of the Saudi Kingdom

For half a century, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been the linchpin of U.S. Mideast policy. A guaranteed supply of oil has bought a guaranteed supply of security. Ignoring autocratic practices and the export of Wahhabi extremism, Washington stubbornly dubs its ally “moderate.” So tight is the trust that U.S. special operators dip into Saudi petrodollars as a counterterrorism slush fund without a second thought. In a sea of chaos, goes the refrain, the kingdom is one state that’s stable.

But is it?

Can’t happen soon enough. Every bastard in the Soddy royal family deserves to be blinded and boiled in oil.

    • I am for nuking Mecca, just for the record.

Won’t happen: they’ll all cut and run for sanctuary in their properties in the UK. It will be the ordinary people who suffer.

Great. Another ISIS caliphate coming up and with all of that oil. I hate the Saudis, but from looking around at what has been happening in the middle east, it could be much worse.

The West should pull every trooper, every gun, every bit of aid ,ban immigration and let them all kill each other.
It would be a blessing for the Planet.

The Saudis have ruled Mecca only since 1923. Prior to that, the northwestern part of the kingdom was ruled by the Hashemites, the same royal family that rules Jordan. Restoring Hashemite rule over their long traditional domain would mean that Jordan would now become the Palestinian state and the West Bank would become disputed territory between Israel and this new state.

I smell an endgame coming up.
