Two Muslims charged with terror plot against American military personnel in UK

Jurors have been sworn in for the trial of a man charged with planning a terrorist attack on American military personnel in Britain.

Junead Ahmed Khan, 25, denies making preparations for attacking military personnel in the UK between May 10, 2015 and July 14, 2015.

He appeared at Kingston Crown Court on Monday alongside his uncle, Shazib Ahmed Khan, 23, with whom he is also jointly charged with making preparations for travelling to Syria to fight for Islamic State (IS).

The attack was allegedly meant to happen at either RAF Mildenhall, RAF Lakenheath and RAF Feltwell in Suffolk between May and July last year.
