Way too many people go to University

Way, way, way too many. h/t

God… they willingly pay thousands per year to get programmed. Go into debt. Stalin would be stunned.

It’s time to stop acknowledging fake degrees in fake subjects from fake schools. To waste money on such a “degree” should be a black mark on any resume.

We need to make a list of all the fake degrees and publish them on the internet somewhere so that prospective employers will know whom not to hire.

A college education is the second most expensive item an individual purchases in his lifetime (after a private house), yet consumers get more protection buying a can of dog food.

And whenever I suggest that students and their parents stand up and treat it like any other consumer transaction that gives the purchaser at least some rights to dictate that service delivery, they shout me down like I’m some kind of war criminal because ‘teachers love their students and live only to impart their vast wisdom on malleable young minds’ for a couple of hundred thousand dollars of course.

To say nothing of the fact that we give tons of cash to these institutions to treat people who, on paper are adults, as mindless children we’re afraid of.

Once again I have deep[ doubts any of those quasi-educated zombies are STEM students. one even admitted she was a gender studies fool. Shut down all subsidies to the Social science faculties and limit student loans to real faculties not ones that manufacture unthinking leftoid robots. If this is a cross section of their awareness and education they have completely failed.

Liberal arts programs are becoming more predominant in University studies. There are no reasonable employment prospects for these students. On the contrary many employers would be dissuaded from hiring these students particularly in the more radical left wing studies since they would highly be prone to rebellious or any other counter productive activities to employers making them to much of a hassle for them. The remaining few actual worth while programs i.e. Engineering, Medicine are now being taught in community colleges. Universities are now used for political indoctrination of youth. That is why the government needs to privatize them they are no longer useful. We only need community colleges and trade schools.

Any curriculum with the word “studies” in its title should be defunded and scrapped. That alone will save millions while forcing the charlatans on the faculty to get a real job.

My favourite was “Roots” at 2:00 and again at 2:38. He’s such a smooth talker.
