I still love Lucy

Trailer Park Boys’ Lucy on stand at Jian Ghomeshi’s sex assault trial

“…The actress and Royal Canadian Air Force captain has testified that the former broadcaster suddenly choked and slapped her while they were kissing, and a year later joined her in a karaoke version of the Britney Spears song “(Hit Me) Baby One More Time.”

DeCoutere is one of three women behind five charges against Ghomeshi — four counts of sexual assault and one count of overcoming resistance by choking.

He’s pleaded not guilty.”

So you can’t “choke a bitch” while you are getting your freak on?
What’s this crazy world coming to?

    • I’m sure Ghomeshi’s supporters are wondering the same thing.

    • Evidently.

      No, you can’t.

I was always told that you Canadians were, like, you know, way less uptight.

Dancing on draft night maybe but when it comes to the hard things we’re hockey players.

Have I got a story about that song!
The 405 freeway at a 100MPH+ in my old Porsche, and an underaged coked-up blonde!
The 80’s really were a special time.

Something very fishy about this whole affair. I can’t believe that the Ontario Crown is as incompetent as they appear to be. Ms. “safe-in-the-love-bug” and Ms. trailer trash should never have been put on the stand. Sweet Marie is picking them off all too easily. She’s not even breaking a sweat. So either the Crown is a hot bed of hopeless incompetence or something else is going on.

You know, bread and circuses for the masses. Sleight of hand (keep your eye on the right hand while the left hand is doing something else). Sex always sells, so this case is making the top of the news, above the fold, etc., etc. Although Ghomeshi is tainted and will probably never work again for the Ceeb (except perhaps in some obscure outpost) he must have friends in high places. He might even have something on them. Who knows? But unless the Crown is saving the best for last, Ghomeshi will certainly walk.

(and don’t get me wrong — I am NOT saying that the little perv isn’t guilty)

Thanks for reminding me of how much late ’90s pop music sucked.

I REALLY liked the version that had the audio for Dope’s “Die MoFo Die” overlaid.

Unless they have a reputable victim in the wings somewhere he’s going to walk. This is an example of political correctness run amuck. Normally this stuff wouldn’t see the inside of a court room. The Crown would drop the changes because there is no reasonable chance of a conviction. But can you image if they had done so in this case?! The wailing and gnashing of teeth from the “rape culture” nut jobs, the “victims” (who are clearly unstable fame whores/groupie’s) and the media, would have been out of this world. So the Crown went the simplest route: lay the changes and let the judge decide.

Am listening to the radio — Blatch is sending tweets from the courtroom. Lucy is DONE (like dinner) — she likes it in the closet!!

        • New Centurion

In the closet. Ha!! That has to be code. What a tasteless and trashy woman.

Once the public gets over wetting their pants over Toronto’s very own “50 Shades of Grey”, cooler heads will prevail, hopefully. These silly, vengeful, lying bitches do their sisters no favours. Their lies trivialize real rape and real domestic violence.

I suppose it depends how you define a relationship, but IMO, the parties involved did not have a real relationship unless you consider a “f**k buddy” a relationship. Also, how do you define “consent”? This matter came up a couple of years ago when a female MP accused a male MP from another party of sexual harassment (or something like that). But the fact was that after having a lot to drink, she went willingly to his hotel room and laid down on the bed. When the guy did what most guys would do under the circumstances, although she didn’t explicitly say “yes”, she opened her purse and pulled out a condom!!

So Lucy didn’t acutally say “hit me again”, she sent him flowers and a letter that said (I paraphrase) — “You really kicked my ass last night. I want to f***k your brains out”.

Interesting that Jian saved the emails and the hand-written notes. Maybe he had a spidey sense that at some point Lucy would be trouble.

Reminds me of lyrics from a Dwight Yoakam song:
            “You keep calling me
            On the telephone
            You say you’re all alone
            Well that’s real sad

            And you keep leavin’
            Notes stuck on my door
Guess you’re hungry for some more
            Girl that’s too bad”

I told a person she was a weak and feeble woman yesterday…trying to amuse ironically…felt good.
Does that make me a bad person?
