What happens once Isil is defeated?

Global jihadism has been around in its current form since the 1990s. Back then, few could have predicted that it would become a permanent feature of our new world order – and, some would argue, the greatest threat not just to the West per se but to the Western-dominated global system of nation states.

So long as you have Muslim terror states you will have terrorism.

So long as you have Islam you will have Muslim terror states.

  • BCF: “So long as you have Muslim terror states you will have terrorism. So long as you have Islam you will have Muslim terror states.” This is a first-figure syllogism whose conclusion is “So long as you have Islam you will have terrorism.” 🙂

    • Amen!

      Heat death.

Exactly what I thought when reading the article. Frankly, so long as there is Islam, there will be Muslims, and where there are Muslims there will be terrorism.

    • dance…dancetotheradio

So, you’re saying nothing will happen.

      • Mankind must destroy Islam to survive.

Do you remember playing Risk when you were a kid?

          • No. Never did. What is that?

Risk is a board game of world conquest.
The world map is divided into regional sections and you are given armies to place on your regions in the most strategic way you can in order to beat the other players.
Battles are decided by rolling dice and the eventual winner is the one who owns the world.
It was great fun when we were kids.
So much fun in fact that we continued to have Risk parties in our apartments well into our early twenties when we were in university.
As a reference or two there is a Seinfeld episode where Newman and Kramer are playing a game of Risk first in Jerry’s apartment and later they take it on the subway.
Eddie Izzard has a punchline in Dress to Kill about Hitler’s ill advised attack on the Soviet Union where he says, ‘Hitler never played Risk when he was a kid.’
There are good software versions, too.

          • Sort of like Monopoly on a grand scale.

    • And we tend to think of Islamic terrorism as limited to the three or four larger organizations that hit the news everyday (ISIS, Al Queda, Al Shabaab, etc.). The fact is there are literally dozens of smaller Islamic terrorist organizations operating in the M.E. — there always have been, operating for decades before 9/11. It’s an political-ideological-cultural battle that cannot be won by merely defeating any one of these organizations.

Complete fucking batshit insane anarchy, like every other day. That’s what happens.

    Obama admits failure?

“Back then, few could have predicted that it would become a permanent feature of our new world order…”
Back then, no-one would have believed that our leaders would import so many of them, ans then call us racists for not liking it.
Our leaders are a bigger threat than Islam.

    • Alain

It only became a permanent feature due to the West caving in to it. When you add the treason of Western leaders by importing the same into our countries, it gets even worse.

  • Physics grad

So long as we are afraid to exterminate them we will continue to be their victims
