Germany takes refugees’ valuables ‘to pay for their stay’

“The practice in Bavaria and the federal rules set out in law correspond in substance with the process in Switzerland,” Bavarian interior minister Joachim Herrmann told Bild on Thursday.

“Cash holdings and valuables can be secured [by the authorities] if they are over €750 and if the person has an outstanding bill, or is expected to have one.”

Authorities in Baden-Württemberg have a tougher regime, where police confiscate cash and valuables above €350.

OMG it’s just like Nazi Germany!

Denmark started this and I hope it spreads to the rest of Europe.

  • Oh, I’m sure the “refugees” are going to be delighted with this turn of events.

“Come to Germany, come one and all, we saw the dead child on the beach, come please come!” Germany already broke every good tried and true practice for a functional refugee policy by opening its doors wide open. Attracted everyone who ever wanted to relocate to Germany for whatever reason — whether refugee, economic migrant, Jihadi infiltrator, Muslim misfit or common criminal, and then says “we’re taking your money” after they traveled hundreds of kilometers to get there by whatever means possible. You couldn’t write a fictional movie about government mismanagement that reflected more chaos than what’s about to unfold.

Get out the popcorn and pull up a seat folks, this is going to be a thriller.
