Sarah Palin Endorses Donald Trump!

As the great writer and political philosopher Alexis de Tocqueville once wrote in a personal letter to Thomas Jefferson: “It’s on Like Donkey Kong!”

Even if you don’t follow American politics closely, or never have, maybe you should start now, just this one time. This is turning out to be the most exciting and breathtaking Presidential election in living memory. The electricity surrounding the 2016 election has surpassed that of Reagan in 1980, and by a wide margin.

This is the political anointing that I have been waiting for.
    Well played D & S!

    • This should have many heads exploding.

      • Drunk_by_Noon

As it seems, mostly in GOPe circles for now.
They are flailing around like a dying monster in a B horror movie.
Really, they are going utterly extra crispy over this one.

        • I’m voting for Rob Ford again in the next Toronto Municipal election. We have to have some ray of hope for Canada. And if you really want to see heads explode: President Donald Trump and vice-President Cruz, along with Secretary of State Rubio invite Mayor Ford to the White House.

I’m clicking the heels of my ruby slippers right now.

True conservative pundits are, but the GOPe much prefer Trump to Cruz.

Ben Shapiro speculates that by endorsing Trump, Palin keeps the title of Tea Party leader. If Cruz were to win, she would fade into the background. Cynical, but this is politics.

I watched tonight’s rally on youtube.
There were five thousand people watching live online.

I can see Isis from Washington DC….

The liberals that laughed at her comment about Russia were too stupid to know that the USA bought Alaska from Russia in 1867 and that Cuba is farther away from Florida than Russia is from Alaska.

Bogus refugees from Syria can see canada from Jordan .

      • barryjr

Look at Big Diomede and Little Diomede Islands, one is American one is Russian and they are less than 5 miles apart. So actually Russia is closer to the US than anybody except Canada and Mexico.

      • Justin St.Denis

Palin never said that, actually. That was said by an SNL comic in Palin-impersonation mode.

    • Frances

Sarah Palin didn’t say that; Tina Fey did on ?Saturday Night Live.

    • Drunk_by_Noon

If I looked inside your ear I bet I could see through your head.

    • Xavier

I can see a moron from this blog.

My amusement knows no bounds…Especially as Hilly is in a heap of trouble with the G-men. Seems that she no only had classified information on her home server, she had super-duper, not even Snowden reads it, intel floating around. Apparently the FBI and assorted alphabet agencies are looking to prosecute. The AG might fall on her sword to protect the nice white lady in which case cue major resignations from the FBI and security establishment, or she authorizes the prosecution and Hilly campaigns from jail, or a courtroom – either way, feel the Bern!

Trump vs. Bernie would set both the Republican and the Democratic establishments on fire. The poor, in the tank, shrinking media would not know where to look.

    Good times!

    • Norman_In_New_York

In their own way, both the Donald and Bernie are political iconoclasts. Let the good times roll!

    • dance…dancetotheradio

Somehow it reminds me of this.

Wow – stirring. It made me wonder about a some things which are seemingly unrelated: multiculturalism, totalitarianism and progressivism. One of these maintains that all cultures are essentially equivalent, and tries to ignore or erase bona fide differences between nations, between the sexes, between races, even between individuals, leaving a kind of bland grayness.

If one actually succeeded in doing that, in creating a kind of hive mentality … how efficient, how useful even in a practical sense could such people be, compared to free, independent men and women who chose to work together for a common cause?

I’m not expressing this quite as well as I’d like, but I think of the Soviet Union sports teams – for instance their hockey teams: they played with an incredible, machine-like precision but, not uncommonly, proved inferior to the (somewhat disorderly) passion of say the US 1984 Olympic team, or the Canadian 1972 team. Some essential aspect of what makes us human was weakened in them, or even missing – a fire in the belly, the desire to compete and excel. This is missing in progressivism, in general.

(I wish Canadians were more like Americans) ….

      • We’ll never be “more like Americans” because we’re not Americans. But there’s no reason why we can’t enjoy the same freedoms as Americans by tweaking our political system to enjoy the same freedoms. Besides, every American I’ve every spoken to loves the idea of bagged milk, the metric system, and Canadian beaver. There are some things about our culture that are just too precious to throw away.

        • Drunk_by_Noon

No American that you ever talked to admired the Metric system.
If they did, they were actually KGB spies.
Truthfully, all the metric system does is piss us off.

          • That was a trick statement. If you don’t like Canadian “beaver” then something’s wrong. 🙂

          • Drunk_by_Noon

            I’m sorry.
When I read about the Metric system, I went into a homicidal rage and begin firing automatic weapons into my ceiling. Naturally I stopped reading at that point.
I thought Canadian beavers were the size of a moose.
In fact, don’t they eat moose?
            I think they do.

          • Don’t apologize, that’s the CIA agent in you.

Now in answer to your question: Depends on whether they have bush. Beavers in the bush tend to grow quite large and have been known to eat moose.

          • Justin St.Denis

Some beavers are open to that kinda thing. Others, not so much.

    • pike bishop

I really like Dixie too, you know, for some balance.

  • Drunk_by_Noon

Palin is addressing a Trump audience and if she gets any more enthusiastic she will be talking in tongues.
Wow, she is really raging against the machine.

  • Why, Sarah?

    • Clink9

Maybe this time she’s the VP.

      • She would have been VP with Cruz.

        • Drunk_by_Noon

          Probably not.
I think he would have used her and kicked her to the curb as soon as it was politically expedient.

  • Brett_McS

  • Clink9

    Palin understands.

  • Micky C.

Makes me wonder though, what’s in it for her?

    • Minicapt

Especially when ‘they’ begin running the video clips of her support from Sen Cruz.

    • Hopefully she’ll be appointed the new “Health Czar” and close down Planned Parenthood.

      • Drunk_by_Noon

I can see her marching through a Planned Parenthood clinic with an axe like Carrie Nation.

“Nation continued her destructive ways in Kansas, her fame spreading through her growing arrest record. After she led a raid in Wichita her husband joked that she should use a hatchet next time for maximum damage. Nation replied, “That is the most sensible thing you have said since I married you.” “

        • Metaphorically.

Seriously. I don’t keep saying this to everybody because I’ve spent my life aspiring to nag. Anything that could be maliciously misinterpreted as an actual call to violence is not on.

          • Drunk_by_Noon

I’m pretty sure Sarah Palin isn’t scouring this blog looking for ideas, but just in case…

            XXXOOO 🙂

            The line forms behind me.

Three different browsers and none of the edits stick.

          • You can’t edit? That’s weird, I can.

The comment above can stay. I mean, we’re all in total agreement that we’d like Palin to inflict non-physical damage on PP. It’s just, you know, generally…

          • Drunk_by_Noon

Yeah, that’s a new one on me, not being able to edit, but specifically THAT POST.
I could edit other posts, BUT NOT THAT ONE.

          • Internet djinns?

          • Xavier

            Oh all right. [pouty face]

    • Brett_McS

She remains the Tea Party leader. With Cruz as President she would become irrelevant.

  • Barrington Minge

    Woah!!!! Donald is toast!!!

  • Xavier

Time for some sweet sweet trolling!
