Cops trying to identify 3 “middle eastern” members of our mosaic of diversity taking pics at Pacific Centre Mall

I’m sure they doing a health and safety inspection and that’s why they were photographing exits etc.

Besides they look very vibrant! What could possibly go wrong?     h/t jbr

This vibrant multiculturalism is just part of our mosaic of potential terrorism diversity. Thanks immigrants for making Canada into a great and safer country!

    • I feel so enriched by our diversity! Stronger too!

  • Tony

But, but….isn’t this. ..racial profiling? ?

    • Damn right, it’s just further evidence of deep rooted institutional racism at the core of our evil Canadian society, all Islamists should be allowed to kill in the name of Allah at will without fear of repercussion, it’s the multicultural thing to do!

  • Clear Thinker

    Dry run planning.

    • When CSIS, our “spy boys”, disrupted a nascent plot by Muslims who were identified scoping out another mall in Canada they referred to the planned terror attack as “Aspirational” only.

Which translates as these “aspirational” Muslims are still walking among us and were never charged.

    Is it a fish-in-a-barrel zone?

  • Jabberwokk

Why can’t they successfully wipe out Ottawa? People will never wake up to the threat so long as the blinders are kept on by the big hats. It’s always the bystanders that pay the price for the poor choices of there leaders.

    • Our government is not our government.

      • Jabberwokk

Which government of what country is?

      • mobuyus

Ain’t mine either. II persevere to endeavor to try to govern myself.

    • mobuyus

Hey! I live and work in Ottawa. I don’t advocate they wipe out your town. There are thousands and thousands and thousands of people in Ottawa that are wide fucking awake. We do not vote in the parliament . You guys from all over Canada keep sending us these parasites. Clean out your own voting booths please.

      • Jabberwokk

If my town were infested by political and intellectual elites that controlled the social and economic climate of the nation acting as they do now I would gladly accept having them being wiped out. The point is that until their skin is on the line there will be no change regardless of there geographical location.

I have long worried about malls and schools, particularly older ones with few exits. If the average Canadian citizen was caught in an attack, what are their options for self defense? Are you completely helpless? (I don’t mean that in a disparaging way, but bravado doesn’t stop bullets)

If your lucky you have a pocketknife. Also most provinces outlawed private ownership of body armor without a license.

      • lolwut?

Collapsible batons are legal in Canada.

The law states it must be clearly visible though.

If you stay off the police radar and give them no reason to check you
then what you decide to carry is up to you.

If you stick to a knife, get one with a gut hook. maximum damage
and there is no legal limit on size despite what some media like to say.

    • We would be toast as the RCMP or other local constabulary would arrest anyone refusing to be murdered in cold blood for Allah as Islamophobic.

The police set up a perimeter and wait for the shooting to stop before attempting entry. They all really want to go home at night and that is their priority as they often repeat. Anyone who thinks the police are going to come riding in like the cavalry is wrong.

        • mobuyus

I attended a school where there was a shotgun shooting. The initial rumour was that it was someone armed with a machine gun. The cops came swarming onto the property headed for ground zero with 38’s in their hands, but then again most of their names were O Grady,O Sullivan, O Flarhity O Flanagan O Brian and such.

          • pike bishop

That’s great. I saw a video of a female cop hiding behind a pillar in the HOC as an active shooter was rampaging there. The HOC for Christ’s sakes.
            Columbine: perimeter.
            Montreal Polytechnic: perimeter
            Kenyan shopping mall: perimeter
My faith in having a cop around when I need one is not high.
I’m watching the news about 20 (or more) dead in Africa right now.
There is just no way that they are going to be in the right place at the right time except through a fluke.

    • lolwut?

Pacific center has lots of entrances and exists, it’s mostly underground
and connects to the street, 2 skytrain stations, a hotel and several office buildings over several blocks.

People with guns could do a lot of damage in that place for sure
it would quickly turn into a maze during an attack with people freaking out.

Cops would be scrambling to cover all the exits and finding anyone inside.

    • mobuyus

Run from a knife advance on a gun, kept my old Dad alive in times of greater peril.

  • Micky C.

Wow! The stupid runs deep in the comment section of the story. What is it with regressive leftists that have this fetish of self destruction? Do they really need someone else to hold a knife to their throats? Can they just not do their own slitting?

    • Micky C.

My mistake. This article is from the Vancouver Sun. The article I read earlier was posted by Lauren Southern.

      • mobuyus

        No harm no foul.

    • lolwut?

The CBC comments have libtards arguing they are likely hipsters.

      Anything to avoid reality.

  • TJ

Do they have any idea what they were taking pictures of other then just the malls decor. If it was the security cameras, they missed the ones that took their picture. Just what could one learn by taking pictures of a mall. Escape plan or where to best plant the bomb.

    • lolwut?

The mall is mostly underground, connects to 2 skytrain stations and has a 5-star hotel. It’s right downtown Vancouver

It’s an ideal target also because it’s a large mix of office workers, tourists
and shoppers from all over and plenty of ways in and out.

    • mobuyus

Probably just taking pictures of Lasenza or Victoria’s Secret mannequins.

  • Blacksmith

So the police say they were doing nothing wrong, So it would be okay for me to go into a bank and take detailed pictures of the inside vault locking mechanism etc?

  • Micky C.

I can’t believe our police services are really that stupid. I’m sure now these men are peoples of interest, and are being sought to be questioned further. I can only hope that our investigative services use these dudes to lead them to where their cells actually are. Okay okay… so they haven’t done anything illegal…YET… but their actions are suspicious. Let’s use that.. Damn guys, we have to be smarter than them… WE ARE SMARTER than them. Lets gather intelligence, and blow them all apart (figuratively, of course). Maybe it was a mistake to publish this find. Just my 2 cents… I could be wrong. I’m open to your interpretation.

    • pike bishop

I think it is a mistake to publish this. These gentleman should disappear into the maw of the judicial system. When someone arrives at the police station to report them missing they too can disappear. They can be “interviewed” at length and held at the pleasure of the Queen.

  • mobuyus

Hey relax they were probably just liberal operatives scoping out suitable venues for a possible future visit from justin.
