Fine old western tradition. No surprises here.

Any bar is a den of iniquity- Sharmutas dancing, alcohol being served, non Halal meat, Kuffars enjoying themselves – naturally Mo and Mo were offended!
Maybe the one Mo who is obviously a vegetarian based on his name “Mohammed Salad” was upset that they were serving chicken wings in the bar.
If this makes the Toronto Star (and Crescent) tomorrow it will be a 5 line item that details how 2 men (no description or names) shot up a bar.

    • We should all reach out to the Mo’s and thank them for pointing out our Kuffar ways!

      • Exile1981

This is why I avoid going to Calgary, you never know when you’ll have an outbreak of multiculturalism.

      • Katyn

The bar should bring in some Bacha bazi dancing boys. Make our new Canadians feel right at home. Immigration. It’s not just about the great restaurants.

      • Exile1981

I wonder if the attacker Mohammed Elmi is the same one who attends the Haskin School of Business at U of Calgary?

That seems to be the only one i can find online living in Calgary and he has a twitter account praising the CBC.

    • Exile1981

CBC will say it was to Albertan’s and imply they were good old boys.

  • Alain

It was interesting to read through the comments. Most saw this for what it was, but there remained some die-hard liberals attempting to claim there is no proof they are Muslims.

    • Kathy Prendergast

Yes, having the name “Mohammed” is no proof; I’m sure there are just oodles of Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, and Hindu Hispanic boys and men out there named “Jesus”.

      • Justin St.Denis

Jesus is a very common name among Central and South Americans, btw.

  • Jay Currie

    Perhaps Somali pirates settling scores?

  • Gary

Where’s Justin on this because he sure was quick to opine on the alleged pepper spraying of Syrian refugees in Vancouver.
Why the silence when muslims shoot-up bar???

  • Blacksmith

    Danged puritans again huh?

    • mauser 98

those damned Amish i tell ya

  • mauser 98

CBC censors re comments section must have hung themselves… given up
    flamethrowers at Saint Justine

    • lolwut?

They claim to be working on a new system, but there will be ways around it.

Ad revenue plummets when sites remove the comments section
so they will be in a tight spot since the CBC loves to spend cash.

      • mauser 98

CBC care about revenue?..the trust fund brat and shlump stupid taxpayer is their milk cow… unlimited $$ for them

many Euro/German news sites comments (English any way) down now re gang rapes

        • lolwut?

Oh they care, they rely on repeat visitors, comments sections on sites are the main draw for that.

A single story can get dozens of views by each person returning to read and reply to comments.

          • mauser 98

if they care they sure wont like comments re this Calgary article.. blasting the trust fund brat non stop

          • lolwut?

If CBC shuts the comments down permanently, that will lead to people seeking news elsewhere.

They are damned if they do, damned if they don’t.

            Just keep hammering.

          • mauser 98

by my count about 40 to 1 against St. Justine

          • mauser 98

speak of the devil …..on CBC BC page

Syrian refugee stories are among those that frequently attract hate-filled comments. What can be done?

            http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/syrian-refugees-online-new-comments-ban-1.3391961

          • lolwut?

Here’s a comment on the writers Facebook page

            https://www.facebook.com/bal.brach?fref=ts

” I agree with doing away with anonymity for news comments sections. I’ll be honest, I seldom read articles or news sites that don’t have comments sections because I enjoy to debate the issues too much”

Comments sections are a huge draw for repeat viewers
remove the comments, they shop elsewhere.

          • Maggat

Primary reason I left the NP was their changing over the comments to facebook. I refuse to use facebook. Disqus is easy to use and allows one to review comments and I like that.

          • Katyn

Syrians should stop doing hateful things? Naaaaw.

      • dance…dancetotheradio

As the Sun newspapers commit suicide by removing comments.
        What is up with that?

        • pike bishop

Have you heard about the TSCB? It’s like this site for posting.
I’m not pushing anything as I love the BCF site but I read a lot and enjoy the comments on other sites.

        • canminuteman

Today, I stopped my subscription to the Toronto Sun. I delivered and read the Globe and Mail as a kid. As an adult I have read the Globe and mail, The Financial Post, The National Post, The Daily Telegram (in England, it’s where I first became a Mark Steyn fan). I stopped the National Post a couple of years ago when they started to become to lefty. I kept the Sun because I read it, and did the cross word puzzles at work. I finally got rid of my landline phone, replaced it with a smart phone and no longer need a paper newspaper. The end of print newspapers is near, i doubt the online editions will last that much longer.

          • dance…dancetotheradio

            I was a paperboy, too.
I first delivered the Winnipeg Tribune and later the Winnipeg Free Press.
On Saturdays I would sometimes read it from cover to cover before delivering it.

          • Clink9

My dirty little secret. I delivered the Toronto Star in the seventies.

    • David Murrell

Notice that CBC News buried this story in the local Calgary page. And there is no discussion of the possibility of terroism, yet.

      • mauser 98

        natch… workplace violence or such
did find this on the BC page…mmmm

Syrian refugee stories are among those that frequently attract hate-filled comments. What can be done?
        http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/syrian-refugees-online-new-comments-ban-1.3391961

      • lolwut?

It’s likely a gang thing though.
It totally fits the pattern of one.

keeping the discussion to third world immigration is the best idea
because you’ll just hand the left ammunition to call any real act of terrorism
run of the mill gang activity.

  • moraywatson

There is so little these days that has to do with islam, it’s almost as if islam didn’t exist at all !

  • That could be ANY Mohammad….

    • dance…dancetotheradio

Any one of them is the problem.
      So, kill them all.

    • Gary

I was expecting it to Omar Khadr with a IED strapped to him .

      • A bacon-laced IED.

      • Maggat

        How about an IUD?

        • dance…dancetotheradio

          Suppository.

  • lolwut?

It’s probably gang related but the names are pure gold for the anti-immigration movement.

    Hopefully they’re not born here.

Rebel media needs to jump on this ASAP and recruit someone in Calgary to get footage.

  • Ho Hum

The comments on the CBC story are not being pre-moderated (yet!). Overwhelmingly Canadians opposed to Muslims

    • lolwut?

Best to keep comments being around third world immigration crime problems
      instead of terrorism right now.

I’m putting my money on this being gang related.

      • mauser 98

CBC employees too lazy?? the gall the nerve!

        • lolwut?

It’s not CBC employees, it’s a company they contracted out that does moderation on hundreds, if not thousands of websites.

That means they don’t have the same dedication to squashing decent like the libtards do.

However, the companies moderators do seem to have a major hardon
for comments on stories about black criminals, so I’m guessing they employee a lot of blacks.

          • mauser 98

WTF!!! thousands of overpaid , solid gold pensioned slug employees and they farm out the dirty work to New Delhi??
…staggering ,, should have gone to bed

          • lolwut?

            It’s a company in Winnipeg.

            http://icuc.social/

          • Justin St.Denis

Same thing, when you stop to think about it.

    • Ho Hum

The CBC has started pre-moderating the comments.

      • lolwut?

Flag the leftie ones, bog them down with work and the “Far right” comments are more like to get through.

Lefties who get flagged by accident will scream bloody murder and do their usual foot stamping demanding the RCMP do something about the evil racists
and calling for even more censorship, except for them of course.

        Hammer…hammer..hammer.

        It works

  • Gary

Haven’t heard from Justin yet, he’s still in tears over the alleged pepper spray to Syrian refugees while there is yet to be an arrest to prove the motive of islamophobia.
Here’s two muslims arrested for a real crime and Jihad shooting , lets see Justin spin this one as mental Illness.

  • P_F

So where is our PM Mr. Imbecile Pothead, no comment on this real mohammedan act of terror?
Just last night he was all over the media damning the pepper spraying of couple of Syrian refugees by some ‘unidentified’ individual in Vancouver, BC., which the corrupt VPD was quick to declare as ‘hate crime’.

    • I hope that Pepper perp turns out to be a Shia…

      • Exile1981

i’m betting the person with the pepper spray turns out to be some women they tried to rape.

      • P_F

Or it could be somebody trying to scare away some aggressive dog. Fumes from pepper spray can be carried a long way.

  • Ho Hum

I notice this report from a Calgary paper that the Muslim shot through a glass door. What this suggests is the shooting was not targeted e.g. gang related but rather purely random and indiscriminate. Given the identity of the shooter this strongly suggests a Jihadist motive. Additionally Calgary police have said they don’t believe the shooting is connected to other crimes in the recent past.

    http://calgaryherald.com/news/local-news/calgary-police-investigating-early-morning-shooting-at-nightclub

    • It does sound more Jihad than Gang.

      • Katyn

        They can’t shoot worth spit.

      • Kathy Prendergast

I’ve read that there is quite a lot of Somali gang-related activity going on in Alberta now, and Somalis do have Muslim names, but still, it sounds like this shooting was random rather than targeted, unless the gang had a beef with the club’s owners.

  • Kathy Prendergast

Well, when two guys named “Mohammed” walk into a bar, chances are not good they’re just there to order drinks.

    • dance…dancetotheradio

But, it is a good start to a Gilbert Gottfried joke.
Two Mohammeds walk into a bar.
The bartender says Two Mohammeds we have a drink named after you.
Two Mohammeds say you have a drink called secret fags?

      • Justin St.Denis

I just spit out a mouthful of coffee…..

  • lolwut?
    • Ho Hum

Yes most likely Somalians. Of course most of these Somalians are involved in violent crime. I estimate that about half the violent crimes including murder in Toronto involve Somalians. They have been a disaster for Canada. We should never have allowed them into the country. All these Liberal and cuckservative proponents of refugees point to the Vietnamese as an example of a success story. They never mention the experience with these worthless Somalian scumbags.

      • lolwut?

The video also show the police are lying about the third guy managing to get away before they arrived.

The video clearly shows him getting out of the back of the car
and being physically approached and touched by a cop.

A lot of the gangs in Calgary are the children of those Vietnamese boat people. Before the Somalians showed up, it was the Vietnamese
gangs doing the majority of this type of thing, usually shooting up restaurants.

    • Sure does.

  • I remember a Canada with nary a Muslim in it, long ago. Now they seem to be everywhere.

    • Ho Hum

I live in downtown Toronto and the changes post 9/11 have been unreal. Back on 9/11 I was scarcely aware of Muslims. Don’t recall ever seeing a women wearing a burka. I knew nothing about Halal. Now these people are everywhere. It is impossible to avoid them and – of course – it will only get very much worse and soon because they are breeding like rats! Sadly a lot of the blame for this deplorable situation must go to the “conservative” party and vote-whores like Harper who thought that they could beat the Liberals at their own game. Harper DOUBLED the Muslim population in Canada under his term in office. It backfired big-time – not just for the “conservative” party but for Canada as a nation.

      • Yeah, really sad. It’s the same everywhere.

  • Gary

I’m wait for Justin to claim that the Police used racial profiling and anti-muslims bigotry as part of their reason to arrest 2 peaceful muslims.
