Notre Dame Prof: We Don’t Have Stricter Gun Laws Because of Racism

The Second Amendment is racist!

According to a piece in the New York Times written by University of Notre Dame philosophy professor Gary Gutting, the reason that gun-control laws are not stricter in the United States is . . . racism.

The gun-grabbers are really stretching these days…

I almost feel sorry for them. Almost…

Gun control laws have always been driven by racism, they just refuse to admit as of late.

“Oh no no no, we don’t want to interfere with rural gun owners and their hunting and sport shooting (not the point of the 2nd, but never mind)! We want to get guns off the inner city streets!” Really, and who lives where?

So what isn’t racist to these people?

The creation of the universe was an act of racism – the Big Bang was racist!

        Global Warming – racist.

        It privileged white people!

The history of the 2nd amendment is clear. Gun ownership by post bellum blacks saved them from the KKK. The embracing of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights by freed slaves is one of the great historic milestones in America. I am not surprised that some bedwetting white professor will not admit this.
