Newsweek Senior Writer Compares Ted Cruz’s Iowa Supporters to Nazis

Newsweek is still around in some form and still disguises itself as an unbiased, objective news outlet.

Godwin’s Law states that the longer an online discussion lasts, the greater the probability that Nazism or Hitler will be invoked.

It would seem that the time constant for this phenomenon is getting smaller and smaller.

    • Xavier

Time –> Hitler is inversely proportional to liberal fear.

      • Physics grad

The left evoke the socialist Hitler because the left like to project and they are still in denial about his political nature as one of them.

        • Clink9

Funny thing about lefties: they would never pick up a rifle and fight real nazis.

    • Physics grad

Godwin’s so-called Law is just another lefty tactic used to shut down debate.

      • Chatillon

Godwin’s Law is just a description of the lefty tactic used to shut down debate, not an endorsement of the tactic.

Having a name for and description of this phenomenon is very handy for us when dealing with such superficial leftist rhetoric.

        • vimy

I think it is the lefts go to tactic when they know they can’t win the argument. all the while knowing they are more representative of Nazism then anyone on the right

  • Physics grad

That “Newsweek Senior Writer” is a muslim.

    • Chatillon

His first name is indeed a Christian name and his last name sounds like he is of Armenian background, so the odds are against his being a Mohammedan.

There are unfortunately enough non-Mohammedan fellow travelers to go around. In my opinion, the leftist PC meme is more dangerous to our society at this moment as it effectively — intentionally of not — uses Western conscience against us to disguise the nature of Mohammedism.

In the future, we will all be Hitler for 15-minutes.

    • Clink9

      I’m already Napoleon.

      • k1992

Well I’m the Duke of Wellington – so there! 😉

        • Clausewitz

          Lord Horatio Nelson here.

    • Justin St.Denis

That’s CLASSIC. May I borrow it now and then? 😉

      • Drunk_by_Noon

Of course, I myself stole it a while ago.
        It never gets old.

A muslim unibrow with the last name Nazi Aryan no less….
    Am I reading this right?

Good hire and no projection from that dude, eh….

  • I had my druthers about Ted Cruz — when he first came on the scene he struck me as the most whack-job of all the Republican candidates. A Canadian-born dual citizen from Alberta who talks like a “good-ole-boy” with a Texas accent. And Latino to boot.

That being said, there are probably more neo-Nazis who would be attracted to the Left-Islamist alliance within the Democratic Party than anything with Republicans. Due to the fact that both the Marxist Left and Islamists share fascism, supremacism, and anti-Semitism/anti-Israel in common.

Googling Alexander Nazaryan doesn’t yield much. He is this young 35-year-oldish urbanite nothing — so guy why moved up through the ranks and has achieved little. But Newsweek is an interesting story. According to Wiki:

the circulation has plummeted to over 4 million in 2003 to, in recent years, zero, when it had ceased publication of a hard copy. We all know that Newsweek during these past 10-15 years has drifted to the left, to becoming an Obama mouthpiece. The Wiki entry describes how the mag was sold from one corporate geek to another — each geek driving the mag further and further to the left. The last corporate-geek-company actually brought out another hardcopy edition, which supposedly has a circulation of 100,000 – if that is to be believed.

Given Newsweek’s dreary track record, one would think that soon Nazaryan will be unemployed, given that the sorry mag has no real future. A good thing for journalism in general.

Keep your nazis thin, shabby, and powerless like those in the picture.
    No problem.

Newsweek = NEWSPEAK ala George Orwell’s book Nineteen Eighty-Four.
