The mostly slow elegant movements of the excavator operator built suspense as the inevitable untidy but frenetic finale quickly approached and left the audience both satiated and wonder struck. The final upraised arm slowly withdrawing under the surface will surely have left all of us

    • Lol.

Like a ballet of the brainless. Bravo.

The video is a metaphor for progressivism in Western Civilization; the claw dragging the behemoth onto a platform that won’t support it; the repeated attempts at mounting; the progressive monstrosity eventually submerging the boat it was supposed to dominate; the final realization of impending doom and the last minute fruitless attempt to reverse course. Then, glub.

Basically the last hundred years in a nutshell.

This reminds me of a story when a Fishing boat ( private ) had the workers cheering with joy as they pulled in a record catch of 8 tonnes from the Atlantic .
That joy quickly ended when reality set in that they the boat was a 5 tonnes Max .
    Oh well .

Totally amazing how the laws of physics can not be repudiated.
