The Case for Civil Disobedience in Oregon

Watching the news yesterday, a person could be forgiven for thinking that a small group of Americans had literally lost their minds. Militias are marching through Oregon on behalf of convicted arsonists? A small band of armed men has taken over a federal building? The story practically writes itself.

    Push backs gotta start somewhere.

  • Xavier

The government exists to: 1) punish its enemies, and 2) enslave you.

  • Alain

Of course the “news” could never be slanted.

  • The Butterfly

The second amendment exists for a reason.

this is more than just the bundy’s look into the progressive feminist flake attorney general and her promotion to that role, she is also married to an activist judge. This is a progressive land grab and an obscene abuse of process. it will all come out eventually but this is indeed state sanctioned seizure of l;and rights

  • Exile1981

The fire they started was on their own land and the prosecutor didn’t charge them with arson but Terrorism.

  • FactsWillOut

Cruz has come out on the feds side, asking the protesters to stand down.

    • DMB

      Which will benefit Donald Trump.

  • Tom Forsythe

Civil disobedience is dumb. I agree with their reading of the constitution, and think the arson convictions are ridiculous. but this will do more harm than good. The media will use it to “prove” that “right wing militias” are a “terrorist threat.”

    • Alain

No matter what they do other than be in total agreement with the government, the media will slander them. The “media” are among the enemies of liberty and freedom.
