Gisela Mota: Mexican mayor shot dead within hours of taking office

A Mexican mayor has been shot dead less than a day after formally taking office, officials said.

Gisela Mota, 33, was attacked by four gunmen at her home in the city of Temixco on Saturday. The attack was confirmed in a tweet by Morelos state governor, Graco Ramirez.

Obviously not the Cartels choice of mayor.

    • Must have pissed off the ratepayers.

They exercised the ultimate heckler’s veto.

This isn’t the first or even tenth time this has happened in Mexico.
This is failed state stuff, as if we didn’t already know that.

It’s called the ‘cooling off’ period.

So…global warming or Trump to blame?

  • Let’s continue to turn the U.S. into Mexico! What could possibly go wrong?

Not a damn thing, assuming you overlook the massive increase in decapitations, kidnappings, murder for hire, and other drug related crimes.
All of that is totally worth it for an awesome burrito recipe.

Most people just don’t get how bad most aspects of Mexican/Central American culture really are. We have all been fed the Disneyland version for the last 50-years and it in no way squares with reality.

      • And don’t forget how much fun it will be to have to bribe a dozen government officials to get absolutely anything done.

I want to renew my driver’s license, I want to get my utilities turned on, I want this parking ticket to go away… will all have a third-world diversity tax.
Yep, all of those things will be in our future, and in some cases, are already.

In many cases these rings are very hard to crack as they only serve their very own ethnic group. That means if you are a Mexican, Arab, Philippine, Etc., and want a fraudulent license, no problem. But if you are outside of those groups, you are lucky if they even do the minimum of what they are supposed to do for you.

  • Many Mexican men are afraid of running for political office because of the Cartels. Mexican women are stepping up to the plate to fill the vacuum — they are brave souls. Killing a woman would especially be viewed as a pure act of cowardice, but the Cartels don’t care about cultural norms — they are merciless with everyone.
