Angry Anti-Refugee Protest at Church World Service Building in Lancaster, Pennsylvania (VIDEO)

Two very different visions of America emerged in the cold in downtown Lancaster Saturday afternoon over the Syrian refugee issue.

  • Martin B

“You want to help Syrians? Help them over there”

No, can’t have that, Shiny Pony wouldn’t get to preen and posture and indulge his moral vanity.

  • Alain

This is a prime example of those motivated by misguided emotion versus those motivated by reason or cold hard facts backed up over and over by documented evidence. The ones operating on misguided emotion are the ones who quickly descent to violence when it does not go their way.

  • Tom Forsythe

For me, the question of immigration is largely “who?” If they are wanting to move to the West because they want to live free, I think we should welcome them. But we do them no favours if we also allow the crazies they are trying to get away from to come here too.

Immigrants have always preferred to live in their own communities, which can be helpful for them in transitioning to the new culture. But, if crazy Uncle Achmed decides he is coming too, and bullies everyone in the family into following Sharia, it is counterproductive for everyone.

The problem is that Islam is incapable with freedom and tolerance of others. It is a serious mistake to put Muslims in the same category as immigrants who are not Muslim.

    • Islam is a problem wherever its numbers permit. I can name no nation with a significant Muslim population where they are peaceful.

Islam is a supremacist cult, its teachings are inherently violent.

      • Xavier

There are none. The peace of Dar-es-Salaam is a lie.

        Afghanistan — Muslim 100%
        Saudi Arabia — Muslim 100%
        Somalia — Muslim 100%
        Yemen — Muslim 99.9%

      • Tom Forsythe

I am thinking more of Muslims who are only Muslims because the only alternative is decapitation; they don’t believe any of that crap, but play along in order to survive. It would be nice if we could provide a place they can live, happy in their apostasy.

      • Tom Forsythe

But, my main point is that letting more Muslims into the country is harmful to the people who came here fleeing them.

        • Gary

That is why it makes no sense for Justin to say he wants to let in the LBGT refugees first as they are at the highest risks for their lives as gays under sharia law.
But then he’s going to bring in 40,000+ homophobic pro-sharia muslims from the UN Camps where muslims are beating up and killing Christians there .

He’s the Boy Blunder that is bringing in the same muslims that had to flee from and it seem that few people like you can see it . Unless the Liberals want the islamists votes so badly they will tolerate a few dead queers on our streets.

Hillary and Obama don’t give a damn about Chris Stevens being chopped up by homophobes in Benghazi .

      • Maurice Miner

        Well, Indonesia is *relatively* peaceful…

Lancaster Pa. (accent on the first syllable, the second almost swallowed) is an odd city. Located in Amish country, it has heavy tourism traffic and also had the most street surveillance cameras in the country a few years ago. A dirty northern city with a high minority population and crime rate, yet it’s a republican enclave surrounded by left leaning suberbs. I lived a few miles south of there for several miserable years and dreaded traveling into the city, but I never would have guessed that this type of showdown would appear there.

All we are saying is give violent Islamo-Fascism a chance.
