ISIS leader linked to Paris attacks ‘mastermind’ killed in Syria: Pentagon

An Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) leader with “direct” links to the alleged ringleader of the Paris attacks was killed in an air strike in Syria as he was plotting additional attacks, the Pentagon said Tuesday.

Baghdad-based U.S. military spokesman Colonel Steve Warren told reporters that Charaffe al Mouadan had been killed on December 24.

“He was a Syrian-based ISIS member with a direct link to Abdelhamid Abaaoud, the Paris attacks cell leader,” Warren said, adding that he “was actively planning additional attacks against the West.”

That would be good news….if it’s true.

Evidently we have eyes and ears on the ground over there…Mossad or Johnny Crapaud….perhaps someone close to the upper echelon.

Spycraft must be fascinating stuff nowadays…..Gosh but I’d love to be skipper of a drone flying overhead these mugs…..collecting and correlating the incoming skinny then unloading on some unsuspecting psychopath and his cohort…

I’d work for free……and I’d name my trusty drone the “Winged Hussar”.

    • Me too;)

Most military drones are designed to carry electronic gear for intelligence purposes.
