Germany prepares refugees for New Year fireworks over trauma concerns but callously ignores beavers!

As Germany prepares to welcome in the New Year, refugees are being informed about the fireworks and festivities. Some psychotherapists believe the explosions could trigger memories of the wars from which they fled.

Yet they have no pity for beavers…

Germans killed beaver

I understand the German beavers were reintroduced from North American stock similar to the much tougher Raccoons that are taking over urban areas all over Europe. Beavers are Slow witted gnawing creatures cursed with a close resemblance to Elizabeth May when the wine flows freely..Racoons? now there is an expat creature we can be proud of. Throw a firecracker at a raccoon and it will just throw it back. They are the Chuck Norris’s of the animal world

      Raccoons are from Hell.

I remember watching a running battle between two gangs of Urban Raccoons on Queen Street in Toronto. There were a dozen of them and they were completely oblivious to all the people and cars. Of course idiots in Toronto feed the damn things, both deliberately and through he mechanism of kitchen scrap “recycling”.

We used to have a huge extended family of 8 or so regularly partying it up on the compost. now we just get one or two extremely nervous individuals. The reason? we have resident cougars that snack on racoons (and loose cats and dogs). Things definitely have improved and the big cats don’t show themselves very often although they are always near.

Most people from these areas don’t suffer PTSD because their environment prior to the war was already so toxic that they are innoculated against it, and it only comes to the surface when the SJWs want funding for another bad Idea.

DBN. The whole story smells of an invented set-up.
      Here’s how it works:
As a reporter you need something to write about to fill space. A concept pops into your head and you ask exactly the right leading questions to get the appropriate answers. then you report on those answers as if the person you interviewed came up with the concept themselves.

Reporter – (looks up psychologists in her area) “Dr. So&so, do you think New Years fireworks could trigger off stress in new migrants?”

Psychologist “Uh- well, sure I guess but ….uh… ”

      Reporter “Thank you”— hangs up.

Next day headline reads New Year’s Fireworks Stressful to Immigrants experts say.”

Yeah, that’s pretty much what I was assuming too.

The story does click all the PC checkboxes along with any traditional celebrations or anything fun being harmful to cute furry animals and those poor down trodden refugees.
Really, the white guilt in this piece was pretty bad and very obvious.

Screw the refugees. If they flip out over fireworks, then they can all walk back home, and I’ll even pack ’em a lunch too!

Shit. I just blew it. In my mind I was posting here.
Tell Ezra and the rest that I am sorry.

  • Shebel

That really is pretty fucking funny.

Does nobody care for the BEAVERS …?

First they came for the beavers but I was a woodchuck (found in sunnier climes) so I said nothing.
