The Great Republican Revolt

The angriest and most pessimistic people in America aren’t the hipster protesters who flitted in and out of Occupy Wall Street. They aren’t the hashtavists of #BlackLivesMatter. They aren’t the remnants of the American labor movement or the savvy young dreamers who confront politicians with their American accents and un-American legal status.

“GOP Donors” has a much more cultured resonance than “status quo enabled corrupt rent seekers” or the more plainspoken “billionaire outright looters”.

Perhaps “Folks who prefer to be on a first name basis with the organ grinders at Goldman Sachs and couldn’t care less how the begging monkeys get chosen.” covers their main concern?

Donald Trump has ‘fuck you’ money.
    He can’t be bought.
    He buys.
He’s the one who says, ‘I am the one who knocks’.

The author still doesn’t get it. Trump is not running on the single issue of immigration. His campaign slogan is “Make America great again.” That process involves national and economic security that touches as many law abiding citizens as can be reached.

There are three groups in society IMO, those that take from those who work and don’t work, those that work and are forced to give to those that don’t and a group of those that just take and don’t support those that don’t work and those that do.

Trump appeals to that giant swath in the middle, those that work and support those that don’t or those that take. I consider my self in the middle. I consider myself well informed. I consider Trump to be a voice for that middle ground. He cut through the PC sheite, he raises issues that are talked about and he gives hope to the idea that that middle swath has sway with him. Trump has my support and admiration for standing up when so many have sold out. Can’t vote for the man but would if I could.

You are right and I wish I could vote for him. You can’t believe in something strongly when multiculturalism has so many different views of the way things should be. If Canada had remained a Christian country we might be strong but with Islam starting to dominate then there is no way but down. If we as Canadians were like our ancestors that fought and died for this country, Canada might survive but the way things are going I think it is too late, and that is truly a shame.
