Mississauga terrorist trying to remain in Canada, granted extension to appeal his sentence

A Churchill Meadows man involved in the infamous “Toronto 18” terror cell that plotted to detonate bombs in downtown Toronto and cause mass carnage, has won an extension by Ontario’s top court to appeal his sentence and, essentially, keep his Canadian citizenship.

Thanks Justin!

  • Why don’t we have ‘death penalty for treason’ any more?

    • Beats me.

Or for bearing arms against Her Majesty’s Forces and Allies.

      • Yep

      • Oh for that you get MacLean’s cover spot. Forgot that one.

How does keeping him exactly benefit Canada?
I’d think conspiring to commit acts of terror against his adopted country might be indicative that he isn’t exactly a loyal Canadian.

By retaining their citizenship we retain power over their punishment. As soon as we revoke that citizenship they are a foreign national being tried in Canada. Under the wrong circumstances they may be exported and subsequently freed.

“The bill was passed under former Prime Minister Stephen Harper, but the newly-elected Liberals have promised to repeal the law”

A reminder that elections have real and terrible consequences. Now Asad Ansari and all his fellow terrorists know for certain they will be safe and sound in Canada as long as Turdeau is in 24 Sussex Drive.

The technical expert. Who were these judges? This guy sure knows how to play we naive, er, stupid Canadians, eh?

His lawyer(s), undoubtably being financed by someone else, or an interested organisation.

      Cheers

Oh, God! I hope they don’t commit him to a Peace Bond! That would be a gross violation of his rights!

I suspect that MP Omar Alghabra will want to change the rules so that he can put him on the list to get the Order of Canada.

    Mississauga terrorist

As in this guy is off to join the “radical” Mississaugans terrorist group as they rape and kill?

As in this guy identifies as a Mississaugan first and foremost?

The Book of Mississaugans influenced this guy?

40,000 more coming in which we won’t be able to boot out either.

Justin will rubber stamp Citizenships and even after the bombs go off he will defend their Right to stay here and slaughter more of us.

The international socialists/communists always said you had to undermine and destroy the existing society before they could create their new order. They never sounded that much different than the national socialists.

Interesting lip action… much appreciated in jail, I suppose.

That’s not mentioning the danger of setting a precedent for revoking someone’s citizenship. There is always a danger of it being abused.
