End of the West?

Should the United States militarily defeat jihadist outfits in the Middle East? After 9/11 the answer seemed easy, but after the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, Barack Obama is not alone in arguing that large-scale offensive campaigns against radical Muslim movements aren’t worth the cost. Even if the president’s go-slow approach is actually more likely to provoke more terrorism, is it the sensible policy for America? And can Western governments actually defeat the Muslim radicals who live in the West and are a nightmare for domestic intelligence services to find, let alone stop? These questions are as much about Europe as the Middle East.

The use of special forces to quietly assassinate radical Muslims would be a start in the right direction.

Whatever we do or don’t go say or don’t say Obama tells us inflames them to want to kill us more. So be it. Toss the keys over your shoulder, walk away and buy front row seats to the genocide. No one cares and at least it will be entertaining.

Islam has nothing to do with Islam. 99.9% of Muslims all over the world are peaceful individuals and strong supporters of democracy, secularism, and womens’ rights.

And black is white and good is evil and winter is summer and _____, etc. etc. etc.

  • All you have to do is treat the core problem.

The core problem is Islamic theology. Without Islamic theology, the problem would not exist.

    It is truly that simple.

After you realize this simple fact there are two ways to treat the core problem.

    1) Militarily – to deal with Muslims with weapons.
    2) Psychologically – to deal with the cult created by Islamic theology.

In a sane world the real debate would be how to prosecute these two approaches.

But the non-Muslim world simply refuses to admit Islamic theology is the problem. And as a result we are doomed to failure.

The minute we admit Islamic theology is the problem we can move towards a solution to ending the Islamic cult.

When Donald Trump says no more Muslim immigrants “until we have figured this thing out,” he is hinting at the theological issues you have raised but is not prepared to say so openly at this time.

      • Minicapt

When he says so, then I’ll believe he has heard about it. Saying “… until we have figured this thing out …” means he’s the only public figure close to admitting ignorance of the subject.

I’ve heard of awful no-go zones in Europe where those wearing animal costumes control the streets, and emergency services and RSPCA workers refuse to enter. If you are caught in these areas uncovered, they make you wear a leash and drink out of the toilet, and fetch the paper for them. It’s horrible, and nothing to do with islam!

Can we hire some bikers to deal with this?

    • mobuyus

Some bike clubs volunteered to go to Afghanistan but were rebuffed by Mr Bush.

Militarily defeat? I favour the Dalek response…..Exterminate.

Obama’s ‘go slow’ approach is –

-to slowly arm the Muslims in the Mid East

    -to slowly Dis -arm Americans

-to slowly promote Sharia Law in America

    – to slowly dismantle America militarily

    — to slowly make it illegal to criticise Islam

    – to slowly fill America with Muslims
