Playboy magazine publishes last issue featuring naked women

The last issue of Playboy to feature naked women went on sale on Friday, with the magazine stating it will now switch to being “non-nude” .

The January/February 2016 issue, which features Pamela Anderson on its cover, draws a close to 62 years of nudity. It is likely to become a collectors’ issue among fans and magazine aficionados.

“The question everyone will likely be asking is, ‘Why?’” a statement in October said, announcing the change. “Playboy has been a friend to nudity, and nudity has been a friend to Playboy, for decades. The short answer is: times change.”

Why play for a magazine when there seems to be an over abundance of women who want to put naked pictures of themselves up on the internet as part of our over sharing culture.

    Who cares?

Ah Pamela…..perhaps now When I see you I can leave the sin of Onan behind me…..henceforth your mind your intellect will be the focus locus of my yearning for the Omphalos…..get thy tits and thine arse behind me strumpet….

Hey, from Centennial Baby (July 1, 1967) to Playmate of the Month (1990), to last cover girl — what a career. If you’ve still got it 48, flaunt it!! You go girl.

    • Brian Jones

Pretty sure that’s all Photoshopped to Hell and back. I’ve seen recent pics of her at fundraising events where she sure didn’t look like her old self.

LOL! Well, 48 certainly isn’t going to look like 28, but you’d be amazed what a little help from one’s friends can do — personal trainer, good diet, a good clinic and regular facials. And if you’ve got the right genes, you can look young for almost forever!

Babes like Pam have made their fame and fortune on their physical attributes, so they tend to take care to maintain (usually).

a mere metaphor for the centre of essence…..sometimes the small of the back….at times the oxters (but rarely)…..its difficult to define…..i have the merest notion the faintest glim…but i shall persevere in my quest…

Playboy Mag with its hints of fun times was the first college textbook in my dorm I read cover to cover.

Rest in peace, Playboy. There are plenty of other stroke rags to take your place…

  • Brett_McS

That’s OK. I only got it for the articles! *cough*

      … ‘the’ … ‘a’ … ‘cis’ … ‘trans’ …

I only ever read it for “the articles” anyway 🙂
