Pegida UK: Birmingham leaders unite to condemn ‘far-right’ rally organised by Tommy Robinson

Political leaders of all three main parties in Birmingham have united to condemn a planned anti-Islamic march in their city, accusing the rally of being “based on prejudice, intolerance and hate”. In a joint statement, Birmingham’s Labour, Conservative and Liberal Democrat leaders said the council rejected a “far-right” march by Pegida UK due to take place in their city.

The statement follows an IBTimesUK interview with Tommy Robinson, the former leader of the English Defence League (EDL), in which he said he would relaunch a UK branch of Pegida, holding its first rally on 6 February 2016 in Birmingham. This was, he said, because Birmingham had become the “terrorist epicentre of Britain”.

  • The UK is toast.

Interesting. All 3 parties uniting to condemn them? They’re probably doing something right.

I’d ask the 3 parties where was their united front to condemn the industrial scale sexual exploitation of kids.

“It’s based on prejudice, intolerance and hate” – easy meaninglsess words to spew at anyone who disagrees with you. It is not based on prejudice. It is as a result of the history of violence that islam has visited upon us. Tolerance does not mean what lefties think it means. It means putting up with something that you would rather not put up with. We use the term “high tolerance for pain” for a reason. Tolerating the intolerable is not a virtue. Hate is an emotion like love is an emotion and is no less valid. I don’t have time to look it up because I am on my way to work, but I’m pretty sure that the UN declaration of human rights says something about all peoples are entitled to their own homeland. You don’t still have a homeland when you have been violently and deliberately displaced by aliens.

The treasonous politicians occupying the “fringe centre” will all be held to account when the canaries-in-the-coal-mines of the “far right” regain their voices and their freedoms.
