NATO can react to a volatile world — not the EU

After the Cold War, many European leaders believed they would no longer have to worry about huge global shifts and ideological struggles. However, as the old saying goes: “You may not be interested in war, but war is interested in you”.

Most troubling for many in the West are the attacks from Islamist fundamentalists which have come closer to home, and as the recent devastating events in Paris and the threats in Belgium have shown, decisive action is now required.

The EU is more inclined to raise the white flag than stand up to the Muslim invasion. I suppose we will have to wait until Obama is out of the White House before decisive action is taken.

    • I don’t expect the E.U. sabre-rattling to last for long. They’ll bomb a few targets then call it quits. Especially since the E.U. is dominated by Socialist governments. In fact the selling point for Britain’s Labour Party to get behind Cameron’s air strikes, was when the Labour leader passionately argued that they needed to be in solidarity with their “Socialist brothers” — the French. They voted in favour not because it was about the threat of Islamic terrorism, but because it was about Socialist brotherhood. And the Socialists have their own fascist agenda.

No need to budget for a military with Uncle Sam protecting your sovereignty.
Then surrender your sovereignty to an unelected clique of progressive bureaucrats.
Initiate an immigration policy that was rather more than imprudent from the get go and has morphed into an existential nightmare.
    Leftist folly knows no limit.

All thrown away for longer holidays and a dental plan…..yet taxed to the point children are unaffordable.

….and to think it only took 35 years to cripple a continent! It really is amazing!

That used to be the case, but with the Obama administration Uncle Sam is not even protecting American sovereignty.
