France: we could work with Syrian regime troops in ground fight against Isil

Troops loyal to Syrian president Bashar al-Assad could be used in any French ground campaign against Islamic State, France’s foreign minister said in controversial comments on Friday.

Laurent Fabius said that the fight against Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil) required two-pronged attack: “the bombings, and troops on the ground, which could include Free Syrian army forces, Sunni Arab forces and — why not? — regime forces.”

Weren’t the French part of the anti-Assad coalition long, long ago earlier this year? Are about to see French planes bombing French troops? What a fucken circle-jerk this has turned out to be.

What is that saying about too many cooks?

That was in 2012. Putin hits the nail directly on the head (several times!) even before the Russian

    intervention in Syria –

Isn’t it a sad comment on our times that he sounds more rational and statesmanlike than Obama?

Obama is a child. Putin is a staesman. Obama’s supine support of maverick Turkey may draw us into war. While Putin is right – stop the neo-con “regime change” strategy and kill off ISIS and its fellow Islamicist buddies. Tweedledum and Tweedleworser should inform our national policies. The “West” is being aligned with the latter. Let’s fix that.

Starting with dumping Turkey and its back-stabbing ISIS-supporting regime.

  • Friggin idiots.

They are Muslims. They hate you.

The Muslims may be having a bit of an internal squabble, but make no mistakes, they (all Muslims) hate non-Muslims.

Get over it. Fight or die.

  • Hard Little Machine

Assad will be given the Nobel Peace Prize soon. At the same time Obama will declare ISIS is a legitimate nation and he will press for their inclusion into the UN.
