£140m taxpayer-funded office is empty because of MP ‘terrorism fears’
An office block has stood empty for a year because of fears politicians could be targeted by terrorists if they move outside the secure parliamentary estate.
House of Commons officials rented the building, which could cost the taxpayer up to £140m by 2029, so that Commons staff could move into it; freeing up space in another office close to
Parliament for MPs who need to move out of the Palace for office renovation.
But security fears have prevented MPs from moving amid concerns that terrorists could target them on the short third of a mile walk between their proposed new base and the chamber.
So the MP’s are afraid of terror attacks?
Aren’t these the same weaselly bastards who exposed the public to terrorism by flooding England with Jihadists?
