Russian TV stations broadcast secret nuclear torpedo plans

The Kremlin has admitted that Russian television accidentally showed secret plans for a nuclear torpedo system on air.

Two Kremlin-controlled channels, NTV and Channel One, showed a military official looking at a confidential document containing drawings and details of a weapons system called Status-6, designed by Rubin, a nuclear submarine construction company based in St Petersburg.

I think its a poke at western intelligence. After this everyone is going to be trying to find out about it. It could be a plan to trap spies.

Knowing how our media work and a pretty good idea of the Russian government, I seriously doubt this was an accident.

Western “intelligence” is a joke. a wheel of fortune type spinner loaded with external threats would be a cheaper and more reliable source of intelligence .Just an excuse for a bunch of steroidal dorks to wear wrap around italian sunglasses and peer at things.

“So, Ivan, with our new Photoshop we can take old designs and add things.”

“Americans would never fall for that, comrade.”

“Americans fell for Crimea, for Syria, for Wikileaks and for Snowden. We give them little glimpse of big torpedo and they spend another 50 billion they borrow from Chinese.”

About the only way Obama’s Defense Intelligence Agency learns anything now.

    • Norman_In_New_York

The Defense Intelligence Agency is an oxymoron.

  • That torpedo is for the next Greenpeace protest boat.

can we book Turdeau and Obama on that cruise?

Most likely a bit of tit for tat for US defense policies that helped to wreck the economy of the old USSR. The US will face massive costs counteracting this threat if it seems to be on its way to becoming a real one.

    nuclear torpedoes?

Ok but can they take out Washington and Ottawa with them?

If so, who do we have to invest with to make this happen.
